Low income taker and gaming on laptop is a really really bad combo.
Might as well flush those 300$ down the toilet as it would be more fun watching than witcher 3 on such a cheap laptop.

My love of games is just the same as all the people on here but sadly, having the time to play one is only an ocasional treat for me, and it doesn't get to happen for me very often like it does for you guys. Not everybody is rich and spoiled like you, and not everybody gets their life handed to them on a pretty plate right next to their xboxes, and playstations.

So... what is this flaw of the video card? If your laptop does indeed meet the minimum requirements maybe tech support can help you.

Btw, Gog didn't make The Witcher, they just sell it.

When was the last time spending 200 or 300 on a "cheap" laptop was the most excitement you could afford for yourself only because you earned a christmas bonus, and the idea of owning a new laptop was a special and well deserved thought because you worked hard enough for it and have been through enough every day bullshit in life?

My love of games is just the same as yours SIX but sadly for me, having the time to play and enjoy one is only an ocasional treat for me, and it doesn't get to happen as often as it does for spoiled rotten people like you. Not everybod is rich and not everybody thinks they are entitled to privelage simply because they were handed everything on a pretty little silver plate along with their jobs, educations, premotions, and entertainments.

Second I find that my older laptop supports the game AND enables me to play it, but sadly despite me putting the settings at the lowest, turning off all the unessesary things, making sure there's nothing running in the background, and doing everything else needed to be done to try to make the game run quicker and smoother, I still had to deal with a game that fucking took hours just to finish moving.

Now, not only did I pay over 60 dollars for a game were you guys ask for outragious requirements, but now I also have to go pay maybe over 300 bucks to get a new laptop just so I can play this goddamn game, because guess what?? My fucking old laptop now has a broken screen all because you assholes had to make a game that makes it next to impossible for a hardworking, minimum wage making gamer like me to play with, relax, and enjoy.

It's not like I get to spend any money on myself for my own personal enjoyment, so of course the one fucking time I do just happens to end up making me have to spend extra hundreds. -Oh and before anyone says it, NO I can't just fucking return the game. -See, since I am unable to make enough to live, I have to rely on Walmart and sadly, Walmart doesn't allow returns or refunds on games. Exchanging it for the same godamn game wouldn't make any sense either, so....yeah I'm fucking screwed thanks to the greedy bastards who created everything stupid on this game.

Of course I'm aware that this is probably an insane idea to these game-makers, but hey, if customer satisfaction actually mattered, and was indeed a big priority to you big-shots, then here's an idea: Give a new laptop to the people who waisted money on one or more of your games, got no satisfaction out of them, and then ended up with a broken laptop due to your shitty-ass games causing lag-rage, because technically it IS your fault.

First of all both laptops aren't "cheap," they were actually both worth over 600 dollars but went on sale because the store needed to make room for more of their 800 + laptops for their Holiday display. They both have all the requirements, except one doesn't have the graphics card for it and the other was slower than a snail. Secondly, playing a AAA game on a laptop CAN be done. I'm sorry if you didn't know or understand that. The old laptop was the same as well, and I've had it for over 5 years (until yesterday) The only problem that I have now is this 3 year-owned laptop with the "not good enough" stupid graphics card. -Btw, very rude of you to tell me to try solitare. What do you think I am? 80?? Fuuuuck you!

It is expensive to play on a computer. I am truly sorry for you than nobody explain that to you before you buy that game, because that's THE issue of all pc gamer. I'm not talking only about this game, and believe me or not but TW3 is well optimize.
Even, this is almost impossible to run a new gen game with a computer under 500$ :-/

It was actually a laptop that was worth 600 and when I played The Witcher 2 on it, it ran perfectly. I even had little problems with the infomous Kayren fight mouse glitch that upset a lot of people. Just now that it's over 5 years old, the new game ran like molasses. The reason I prefer PC gaming is that, well, it USED to be that you didn't have to keep upgrading to a new one like every year or so. -Xbox, nintendo, Playstation, and Wii are all game sysetems that get outdated too fucking quickly, so then you have to spend even more money buying an updated one. That to me is bullshit. -But now it appears the gaming indrustry realized that people were still playing on PC games for that very reason, and not buying their expensive game systems on a yearly basis, so the gaming indrustry got dollar signs in their eyes yet again and decided to make it so people would have to pay a hell of a lot more on gameing laoptops in order to continue playing the games they love.

I make about 7$ and hour, no car, no kids/gf/loans so least I get to keep it. What I am saying is that laptops are a top Luxury item so I would never buy one. A 300$ laptop is just junk when it comes to gaming and unless you break 1500$ you'd have a hard time to compete with a 700$ desktop computer while still ignoring the heat issues.
But if you want to play your games while getting a tan at the beach I guess laptop is the way to go.

Plain and simple, you can't afford to run this game. It's not GoG's fault. But GoG does sell the game, which you should have used to buy it instead of Walmart since they do offer refunds. Stop trying to game on piece of shit laptops. I'm married, have a job, have 6 kids, and I bought a gaming desktop 3 years ago that runs the game fine ($1300 for the gaming rig, btw). Save up your cash, buy an XBox or PS4, and stop bitching about your inability to build and use a gaming computer.

But it seems to me that i achieved my goal and hit the nerve which was my main goal because it was kinda obvious that you think that the world should spin around you and moreover i cant take seriosly something like "you know nothing about pc gaming" from a person who tries to run AAA games on laptop.

First, a laptop that was worth $600 3 years ago is probably worth as much as a laptop that you could buy today for $200. So yeah, that is a cheap laptop in today's world. I'm sorry that you are poor. But that doesn't change the fact that to play a game like Witcher 3 you will need a much better (ie more expensive) computer. If you are trying to save money and actually interested in playing this game on high/ultra settings, I would recommend a desktop for around $600. Laptop, you are talking about over $1,000 to get the performance that you are looking for.

The absolute cheapest way of getting "pretty good graphics" in Witcher 3 is an XBOX/PS4. Stop being so defensive. You don't have money, fine. But game companies are not going to release AAA new titles to play on 5 year old mid level hardware.

Any hobby costs money. If you like to ski, you have to plan on paying for the ski lift. Witcher 3 has clearly published "recommended hardware" requirements. You should have looked at this before making the purchase. If you don't meet these requirements then you don't have anything to complain about.
