Polygon has been a joke for a long, long time. A terrible gaming new site, but same can be said for PC Gamer and Kotaku, all of them have done things that have made me lose what little respect I had for them. (Pure click-bait articles, no real journalism to be seen, copy-pasting press releases, taking obvious bribes, etc)

If you want educated opinions from gamers find a YouTube personality you can agree with and I personally have found the writers for Forbes to be reliable sources of gaming information as of late.

I suggest SuperBunnyHop as a good youtube reviewer btw. He actually does his homework and does real journalism, omg the thought! AngryJoe has his merits as well, though I haven't agreed with everything he's said. He's not a journalist though, just a critic.

Why do you think a company which has no fear of releasing Postal (Hatred is more or less a Postal clone) would say they can't release its replica? Well there is a simple reason, some SJW group or SJW dev(s) got them by the balls and told GOG "If you release this game we will make business a hell for you) For all we know it could be Corrupt King Phill Fish threatening with removing his game from the catalog. We know for sure GOG would refuse to lose even a single game for the sake of releasing a Postal clone, so it is possible a SJW dev team or publisher threatened them with exactly that. Call me tinfoil hat theorist or whatever, but after seing SJWs making death threats and going very far with their actions I would not be surprised.

Right now there's a minority of people complaining because GOG won't release it, but most likely another vocal minority would object if they decided to release it. I consider myself part of the majority of GOG users who simply don't care either way.

I'd say a GOG release of the game is far more likely a few months down the road, when the situation has calmed down a bit. They probably just want to play it safe and see how things develop.

Luckily, I'm not too worried. Witcher 3 is on it's way to be one of the best reviewed games this year and currently Hatred is selling like hotcakes, topping the charts on Steam.
