The Witcher 3 is possibly one of the best open world games of the decade, and much likelly the best way to conclude an awesome game series.

However, this does not keep it safe from attacks by politically correct would be censors and SJWs. There are articles from sites such as Polygon branding the game as sexist and misogynist. The parody of a man John McIntosh claims Geralt of Rivia, one of the greatest characters ever created, is an example of toxic masculinity and completelly devoid of emotion.

I am tired of seing this, and after what happened with Hatred many think you guys at CDP are held at "gunpoint" by this SJWs. Many think you are unable to defend yourselves or your ideals. Many think you will end up caving in and supporting censorship.

Let me make it clear, I am not asking you to release Hatred, this is not the thread to do that. I am asking you to not let others attack YOUR game, to not let othrs censor it, and to not censor it yourselves out of peer presure.

I am tired of seeing moralists flinging shit at one of my favorite video game series. And I think it is time to fight back. I think you should defend your work, your dream as you put it in the artbook. You cant just let these people attack your masterpiece, your baby. I don't know how to reach you guys to tell you this, so I am using this thread to do that. Defend yourselves, show them you are not going to bow to their will.

The Witcher 3 is hailed as the best RPG of the year, best RPG ever, game of the year, fantastic, 10/10, has great sales, etc...

It is not about sales, it is about artistic freedom. I would not like to see my art being censored or vilified by SJWs, no matter how much money I made. And honestly the things McIntosh said are rather insulting to the creators and writers of the game.

Intel is not pandering to Feminist Frequency (who are being used like a mascot for this particular campaign) specifically, they are trying to use them to pander to the 'new left' PC (politically correct) crowd in general (which holds a bigger place within society, and are usually too busy worrying about new ways to use kale, and new ways to prove how masochistic they are). Intel will change their tune when they figure out that they can't use the pencil and cup crowd to make money, oh, and when gamers switch to AMD. lol

I switched to AMD long before that happened by the way. However, I don't like to see those idiots insulting a great character, and I firmly believe CDPR should defend their IP better.

Na, only defense they need is to make more great games like this with amazing characters and interesting storylines.
Besides, when was the last time you stopped to debate some random loon on a street corner whether the end is really nigh?

I just hope they don't end up starting to censor things and trying to be more politically correct. And well, if the loon is gathering other loons and organizing them to attack those who disagree then defending ourselves would be wise.

Stop talking about them and definitely stop talking to them.

They're like trolls in that respect. You're not going to change their moronic opinions and by giving them any sort of attention you're provoking them and giving them what they want, attention and money from click-bait articles.

Polygon has been a joke for a long, long time. A terrible gaming new site, but same can be said for PC Gamer and Kotaku, all of them have done things that have made me lose what little respect I had for them. (Pure click-bait articles, no real journalism to be seen, copy-pasting press releases, taking obvious bribes, etc)

If you want educated opinions from gamers find a YouTube personality you can agree with and I personally have found the writers for Forbes to be reliable sources of gaming information as of late.

I suggest SuperBunnyHop as a good youtube reviewer btw. He actually does his homework and does real journalism, omg the thought! AngryJoe has his merits as well, though I haven't agreed with everything he's said. He's not a journalist though, just a critic.
