I gather CDP hasn't gotten enough flak from the community on the "babe cards" of TW1 so they had to make this pornographic add-on .

WTF? Were they missing being called sexist and misogynistic?
In case you didn't notice CD Project doesn't give a shit about what butthurt western feminists say.

Whoa, keep it cool, man. There is no need to insult zipdrive or other people with differing opinions. I liked the first game a lot, but found the card collecting aspect quite immature for a game with an otherwise serious tone. I don't mind sexuality in games, but there are times where it seems out of context or even degrading.

Everyone who is familiar with the novels knows that Geralt is a notorious skirt chaser and that's just fine. But the novels (and the games) do have strong female characters, which have been transfered to the game quite well in most respects. I just found the card collecting didn't fit in here at all.

That being said, sexism has been a part of games (and even more of games marketing) at least since the early 90s, just think of all these ridiculous "bikini armors" . Since those days games have become a lot more realistic and it is clear that not only does society influence games, it is also influenced by them. I don't want to start a crusade here, but I think it would benefit all if such things were more widely debated - without insulting anyone.
Bigotry and racism exist, why not misogyny? Besides, they're not used as propaganda tools, they are there to show how people were in a similar time excluding the fantasy part, it's very medieval after all and I found them very relevant. The sex cards on the other hand is subjective, personally it's not really my kind of thing but I thought they were fitting the theme of the game (dark fantasy).

actually to be fair i thought the playboy stuff was pretty immature and tacky.. i actually loved the cards from the first game, i thought they were beautifully done (100 times more classy than animating the sex scenes)... but playboy... its such pandering to immature gamers. i mean i GET it, it was just advertising, and the kinds of people who love porn and titty mags are exactly the kind of crowd that cdpr are hoping to attract to the franchise, but i still thought it was a bit... yeah ill stick with immature. marketing, yes, but still pretty tacky. i think there are still ways to advertise a mature game without demeaning it by going to crappy titty mags to advertise... whats next, a full animated porn flick? lol

BRING BACK THE ARTISTIC NUDE CARDS THOUGH!

Not tiptoeing around everybodies uniquely silly sensitivities is what helps this companies games be good. So much of the experience is lost everywhere else due to the fear of p.c. sensibilities.

I thought it was a neat touch and its a totally optional one. The existance of something shouldn't offend you when you can change the channel or not download it.....

I'm just wondering when the balls of the European male overshadowed their western counterpart because there is some serious shrinkage showing in judging in how most entertainment presents itself

If you don't like the game then don't play it. It's scum like you who encourage censorship and ruin art.

There's no porn in that. Nudity and porn are two different things. And misogynistic? That's not the right word for this, obviously. There's also an option to not download that file.

Oh the irony in your post. Here I am teaching someone how they can't incorrectly use the words "sexism" just because there's a naked body or showing women is being "misogynistic" but yeah i'm the "dumb" one.

Let me guess you're either a feminist or an obese white knight nerd who thinks he's on a mission.

Which one?

I think this post needs locked. It's not going to go anywhere good, not that it could have in the first place.
