Pretty straightforward. Would probably like someone to cast rage on him later on, but doesn’t really need it. Has rage of his own to compensate for AB loss a bit.

Most of his gear is found and not from artisans, which is a bonus. Doesn’t need gyronna to reach 70 AC, so there’s that as well.

Don’t jump on greataxes just because you’ve got a feat. Wait till you get a decent one. Meanwhile you will probably want to use monk weapons. There are flaming nunchucks in A1 and then you can buy a +2staff from the old witch in A2. Extra attack per round goes a long way.

Power attack is taken as a prerequisite for 2 feats we want and it is unlikely you(or anyone) will ever use it.

Automatic dazzle from level 14 and he’s good at it too. Has shatter defenses. Crane feats you technically could live without altogether, but early/mid-game AC ramp is important too.

Hey,
can you make by any chance a ranged deliverer? Is that even a viable build=? The Combo of ranged (being generally pretty good) + sneak attacks sounds it could be a nice powerhouse.

I guess Musetouched, maybe 1 or two levels as divine hunter to get precise shot, max 15 levels as deliverer or so?

Is there anyway i can "force" a character to only engange within 30ft range? As Longbows have a range more than 30ft so you loose out on the sneak attack...in worst case i have to manuially make sure he is within that close range, but still :)
Ranged/Slayer/Musetouched for Phantagor

Race: Aasimar(Musetouched)

Alignment: LG(Because deliverer)

Stats:
Str: 16
Dex: 19 > 24
Con: 12
Int: 12
Wis: 7
Cha: 14

Final Build: Paladin(Divine Hunter) 2/Alchemist(Vivisectionist) 4/Slayer(Deliverer) 12/Magus(Eldritch Archer) 2

Main skills: Trickery(Max), Persuasion(Max), Athletics 1, Mobility 1
Suggested secondary skills: Stealth 1+, UMD(spare)

Lvl 1: Paladin - Rapid Shot // god doesn’t matter
Lvl 2: Slayer
Lvl 3: Alchemist - Accomplished Sneak Attacker
Lvl 4: Slayer
Lvl 5: Slayer - Weapon Focus: Longbow
Lvl 6: Slayer - Menacing > Intimidating Prowess
Lvl 7: Slayer - Manyshot
Lvl 8: Slayer - Menacing > Shatter Defenses
Lvl 9: Slayer - Improved Critical > Longbow
Lvl 10: Slayer - Combat Trick > Point-Blank Shot
Lvl 11: Slayer - Clustered Shots
Lvl 12: Slayer
Lvl 13: Alchemist - Blind Fight // Crippling Strike
Lvl 14: Magus
Lvl 15: Slayer - Improved Precise Shot
Lvl 16: Slayer - Menacing > Dreadful Carnage
Lvl 17: Paladin - Critical Focus
Lvl 18: Magus
Lvl 19: Alchemist - Staggering Critical
Lvl 20: Alchemist - Dispelling Attack

Important Spells: True Strike

Gear: Best bow you can find(Gamekeeper or Mirror Bow), Stat gear, +AB gear

There you go. machine gun archer. AC will suck big time, nothing I can do about that. 9d6 sneak attack and good AB, though. Gets Dreadful Carnage so you won’t have to worry about dazzling much. Smite evil for some tough evil guys that are still present in the game, even if not abundant.

Right-click a cantrip when you get magus level and forget about it.

And no, there is no way to force yourself into 30 range automatically.

Hello,

First of all love what you are doing - thank you very much for all the builds provided :)

Second, could you kindly suggest a build for charisma char with pet and option to "range auto attack" and not be completely useless doing it (pref 10 int as well). I saw your sylvan sorc build (sylvan sorc for melty) and is the closest to what I am looking for .

Is there perhaps an option for range/sneak attacks or is the monk version much better for what I am looking for?
If you also had similar request before I apologize for not seeing it.

Thank you!

There is an up to date sylvan sorc in my main build thread, although sylvan sorcs are not really about attacking. They are more about disabling.
There is also a question if you want cha for the hell of it, or you want high persuasion? because those two are not necessarily the same.

Well mostly for high persuasion and RP reasons as I consider PC as a "leader" so I thought high charisma is a must. And I also want pets so sylvan sorc seemed like a logical and "viable" choice. I guess another option is some sort of paladin build but really dislike playing as lawful characters.

So in short = Pet + attacking + non lawful "leader" .
Since I'm from Poland - A witcher spec would be nice!
Any ideas how to build that :) ?

vivisectionist/monk is n obvious choice. Either estoc or a bastard sword. I would go for the former as it has a better endgame weapon. Easy to build/play and strong enough.

Aren't those weapons 1handed? I think Geralt used a 2 handed sword. Maybe a dueling sword?
He also used close range spells like a magus.
Was agile like a monk.
Was called a "monster slayer"
Was using mutagens.

vivisectionist is all about mutagens. and as to geralt two-handing... well if you leave the 2nd hand open it is considered as two-handing. Making a game actually visualize it is bit harder. Geralt used longswords(actual longswords, not arming swords that are called longswords in dnd). Closest things to in the the game are bastard swords and estocs.

Can you create a build around this?

Lvl 20: Cleric

Important Spells:
Lvl 1: Divine Favor, Shield of Faith, Remove Fear, Bless, Magic Fang
Lvl 2: Barkskin, Find Traps, Restoration(Lesser), +Stat spells(for the pet)
Lvl 3: Animate Dead, Resist Energy(Communal), Delay Poison(Communal), Magical Vestment
Lvl 4: Divine Power, Restoration, Freedom of Movement, Death Ward
Lvl 5: Breath of Life, Angelic Aspect, Cleanse
Lvl 6: Summon Nature’s Ally, Eaglesoul, Hellfire Ray(With Rod of Flaming Vengeance)
Lvl 7: Restoration, Umbral Strike
Lvl 8: Frightful Aspect, Legendary Proportions
LvL9: Mass Heal
Magus: True Strike, cantrips

Gear: Some decent bow(Mirror bow is probably best), Archer bracers, +Stat gear, Ring of circumstances(str/wis/dex/DC), Rod of Flaming vengeance, Absolver cloak, the rest doesn't matter much.

Something useful, Actually has half-decent ranged attack(when buffed, at least), has a pet. Think it qualifies.

Right-click some cantrip when you get magus level2 for an extra attack per round. Umbral Strikes and hellfire rays are nice too. Too bad arrow of law doesn’t work with spellstrike.

Could be gozreh for a few more ray spells, but I prefer having guarded health for the AB bump that he will clearly need sometimes.

Blessing of the faithful, Spell recharge, and a lot of heals are somewhere there in the package, which is not bad, really.

Not unfair material, but it's ok.

Hey InEffect, thank you so much for putting together all these builds. I started this game not knowing anything about the Pathfinder system and your posts have become an invaluable resource for me as I learn.

I generally like playing paladin type characters and your "Monkadin" build looks interesting but I noticed it's flagged for a rework. What would you change about it?

Thanks for the build, very much appreciated, though i only made some suggestions of what i think would work, so musetouched etc, wasnt mandatory for the build itself.

As a sidenote: why the magus levels? just for the extra cantrip damage?

If I can work with what was your idea for the build at all - I will do it. Why not?
extra arrow.
