08q2y3h4tu: GOG should have left the stamp game open till midnight 25th, because normally day does not end at 15:00, especially when all us believing in what they wrote in the announcement still saw the 24h countdown since yesterday. and nothing indicated that we are silly fools to wait for the countdown to end for nothing. that's not what i call fair play GOG.

moonshineshadow: Like I said before, gog messed up with the design of the stamp collecting, there was never going to be another stamp today which was clear if you noticed that the new stamps always appeared with the new daily offers and it was clear that there would be no new bundles and that the sale would end today at 15:00 CET. But of course you have every right to be angry since the stamp collection with the counter was very misleading.
it's not really anger, it more like i said the disappointment and feeling cheated by GOG and sad, that they would do such thing. i feel so silly that i too was waiting for new day to click that stamp for 7 days. i usually never buy into such marketing gimmicks but GOG had my trust, that i (sadly) went on with the game. booo
Wow, my first ever post on this forum and it's a bad one. It's the 25th, I should have been able to get my last stamp, but the stamp game's over.

Ah well, I hope they take the time to read our complaints and learn from them.
I am an ID10T.

The sale was great.

I agree. It didn't look like there was going to be a stamp today based on the wording and when the timer reset. I hope in the future they better communicate when a customer isn't able to complete a promotion like that.

Here's why this was a bullshit rip-off promotion:

Why did the stamp collection widget still allow users to collect stamps in the last 7 days if it was mathematically impossible to collect the remaining stamps needed to make 7 before the end?
Sale ran for 2 weeks. If you couldn't get 7 clicks in 14 days you're doing it wrong.

Got aware of this sale 7 days before the end, noticed the stamp thing the day after, got played with the misleading counter the 25th. Granted I should follow gog on Twitter or check on gaming boards full of facepalm inducing threads more often, but you shouldn't assume everyone had the time and access to information 2 weeks prior to the 25th.

The problem here isn't that there wasn't enough time, it's that the counter let a lot of people assume they would have another stamp. Not a disaster since no money was drained in the process but I can understand why people feel a little cheated.
Collected all stamps, SEVEN days waiting for e-mail.
Tried the "support", no answer.

Why GOG?

Regarding how many people are having trouble with this stamp collection thing, the gog support is probably pretty swamped with requests right now. So while this might be annoying for you they'll hopefully respond to you in the not too far future
Got the first 5 stamps no problem then couldn't get a connection on the 24th till late, clicked the 6th stamp when i finally did connect to see that the next, final stamp would be unlocked in 14hrs 59 mins, only problem, the event finished in 14hrs 58mins!
Yup, missed the final stamp by exactly 1 minute! ONE MINUTE!!!!!
Miffed to say the least!

You did not miss it. There never was going to be a stamp on the 25th. Problem is that gog did not make that very clear in their advertisement and the counter still ticking down even if there was not going to be a new stamp made this even worse. But if you want the game, try asking one of the generous souls here:

The stamp timer wasn't based on when you click but had a daily reset. You could collect 2 stamps within 5 min of each other. This wasn't an error on your part.
You should all check your Spam Mails
