Finally I can grab the Blackguards DLC. Crazy week.
I wish Wallace and Gromit were still around, that's the only game they didn't release as a 99% DRM-free disc.

Roman5: It's a nice promo but I still have to say that I dislike how TellTale keeps the prices on their games so high to make "90% discount!" seem like a lot

Other companies on Steam are guilty of this as well
Have to agree there. I like their games, but ~$30 base price is ridiculous, especially for the older titles. I just checked and the German Amazon sells most of the Sam and Max games for about €3 -- not much more than the current "discounted price". And I'm talking about actual physical copies here.

Really have no idea how they come up with these prices and what makes them think they're "reasonable".

On the other hand, the average DD customer is partially responsible for this situation. Apparently people are more likely to buy a $20 game at 75% off, rather than a $5 game at full price. People like seeing those big discount percentages, I guess. Makes them feel like they're saving money, even when they're buying a ton of games they'll probably never even play. "But OMG it was 90% discounted, I had to buy it!!1"

Not to mention that the German retail copy is multi-lingual instead of offering English language only.

Ah, that too. ( I tend to play all my games in English, so I wasn't even paying attention to that. ) I have a copy of the first season and it also came with a poster, and possibly some other goodies.

In any case, you receive a product that's superior in various ways, and pay a fraction of the base price of the digital version. While on the other hand, digital distribution is much cheaper and easier for TellTale, and yet they charge these ridiculous prices. What's up with that?

MichiGen: Nice promo but I already have all games which I've wanted from these.
When will Telltale release The Walking Dead here finally?!
You take the words right out of my mouth!
I think Deponia 3 was cheaper during the DRM-free Summer sale.

Alright i guess I'll jump over my shadow and buy the DLC for Blackguards.
Then i just need to pick up DSA1-3 and i have the full set of DSA games here, i think anyways:P.

Except for having to use "other" means, to get german into some of those games :/

I'm assuming it's better to wait for the Complete Deponia then it is to buy the three separate games now since you don't get a free upgrade.
Is that a somewhat correct assumption?

Usually I do too, but in the case of Sam & Max I grew up with the German voiceovers and liked them a lot, and Season One used the same (famous) voice actors as S&M Hit The Road (sadly they switched the studio and actors for Season Two).
One of the best weekend sales in quite a while, I joyfully jumped at this opportunity until I realized I already had everything in there. #firstworldproblems

Yes I'm still waiting and waiting for that, series 2 and "The Wolf Among Us" and they have other titles not here as well. I don't want steam to have all my money.

New game and wasn't a small project, they will want to get their investment back and make a buck or two. You also get FLAC soundtrack and some developer videos so it is a nice package.
