Jack is Life! Jack is Love! The Keaning is happening!

Most sales are just that: some nice deals, tons of games, some flowery marketing talk about those deals. Nothing more, nothing less. As you know, last year we ran our Fall Insomnia Promo with the usual expectations that follow a typical sale.

The Insomnia Promo was different. Very, very different. It morphed into something beyond our wildest expectations. Entire communities were staying awake for this sale. The RPG Codex was busily snapping up and all classic RPGs. 4chan's very own /v/ put aside their usual bickering about which console was best and started trying to find The Pattern (sorry guys, you didn't crack it :^) ). Meanwhile, Jack Keane acquired a cult following (JACK IS LOVE! JACK IS LIFE!) all the while collecting a flurry of 5 star reviews where gamers documented all sorts of miraculous manifestations of Jack's blessing in their lives. Lastly, the Insomnia promo garnered its own entry on our [url=http://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/the_return_of_the_insomnia_sale]wishlist.

Welcome to our Spring Insomnia Sale! Back by popular demand*, we will be putting up 100 games in limited quantities** with discounts up to 90%. We'll have more games for sale than Noah had animals in his ark. Indies. Classics. Classic indies, even. All kinds of games for all kinds of gamers. However, you have to be fast, faster than those Polish script kiddies*** lurking outside our offices so they can get 0.1 ms of ping!

We did change things up a bit this year. While checking out, keep an eye peeled for a random chance to get a free game. Yes, this time there will be no more split second freebies so everyone has an equal chance :)

*why would you do this to yourselves, you mad fools?!?!
**yes, we know that all games are being distributed digitally and quantities can be infinite, just roll with it, ok?
***it was a common theory that all the free games were being snatched up by Polish hackers. We don't have any hackers here in Poland, we deported them all...somewhere...
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WHAT DID I MISS?! >_<
This is moving way too fast!
OK, disregard my first post. Fully addicted.

Important call for the managing partner? Please hold.

Shelter! It was the first game to go on my wishlist. Yay!
Alan Wake $5.99
Geez, this is like the fall sale on 'fast-forward', barely getting time to check out before the next one. :-)
Alan Wake 5.99$
I missed Bard's Tale :( That's the last time I take a shit...

SpellSword: "war! It's never been so much fun!" XD

I remember playing the demo of Cannon Fodder. Interesting but 'very' difficult game. -_^
And now it's the second game I've bought on this sale. This is getting good (and scarily fast).

zeffyr: Oh my, that pace!

BTW Has anyone got the free game yet?

Russonc: Got Twinsen's Oddessy
So, how did it look? You've entered card number, clicked 'process order now' and message popped up that it's for free? :)
Alan wake at $6? Can I get 8 hours sleep out of this...

Apparently not. Who doesn't have this? And who didn't see it for cheaper than this...

Iain: Love the insomnia sale, however at the same time it does annoy a little.

I normally buy a few things at once here due to the bank charging me £1.50 every time I buy from GOG, so with the Insomnia Sale buying a few items 1 at a time means the bank charges could be quite high.

Still didn't stop me buying Love for Sail!!!

mrking58: Just put the process though Paypal. You pay a worse exchange rate but its in the pennies not pounds
Paypal is attached to my wifes business and is on the books etc so I can't use that, my card is also attached to the business Paypal so it would mean transferring money into there which isn't instant.
Alan Wake. This should take a while....
Alan Keane:)
Damn... already own it on Xbox and through Steam
Alan Wake for $5.99... well... I once got that for $1.00 on the Humble Bundle, so...
