Daliz: For example those who are interested in Linux versions, which btw, are also available for these games.

nijuu: I get sick and tired of people mentioning X store Y store during a GOG release. Whats the freaking point?.
That's true, there's no point in saying this has been on sale here and there since whenever.

But if there are differences between stores, like extras or linux versions, there is a point.
Woohoo, at last! And again, very nice that owning the first part in GOG is once again taken into account in the bundle, so I don't have to rebuy anything in order to get the fully discounted bundle.

I hope Torchlight 2 would come at some point too...
I feel this release pretty much redefines "instabuy"

Ghorpm: Whoa, another deal that cannot be refused? OK, Ok, I'm buying, I'm buying, just give me a sec. Even though Trine was just an average game for me I would like to play a sequel...

stardust_79: Trine 2 is better that the first one in every aspects, but Trine 1 still an excellent game thoug.
It's good to know! I have three issues with Trine:
- The graphic is beautiful but slightly overdone - it happened several times that I couldn't see a skeleton because something blocked my view. It was standing one meter from my character so he/she had to see it so it's a bug, not a feature ;P (it's a minor complain)
- Characters are rather unbalanced. 90% of time I played as a thief
- (very subjective) I've heard so many times that Trine is like The Lost Vikings that I expected something else. I'm still rather amazed at this comparison. Well, obviously there are three playable character and it's a platformer game but that would be it. In TLV all characters were present simultaneously and in Trine you switch them (which is more like Fury of the Furries). And TLV is more focused on puzzles whereas the gameplay of Trine is mostly straight forward. I'm not saying it's bad per se but I really expected something else and therefore felt disappointed at the beginning. Then I thought: "Why should I care about a silly comparison?" and then I enjoyed the rest of the game...
To the folks who'd like to get the OST, you can grab it directly from the composer at aritunes.com

It's not free on Steam either (5$/€ for the OST+Artbook upgrade), and the Goblin Menace soundtrack is absent from both Steam and Humble AFAIK.
IMO first „Trine” was much better than second (better level design, better items to collect) but „Goblin Menace” was very good expansion.

mrking58: weird because your first post does say cool anymore
Heh, heh you caught poor Roman red-handed :)
Awesome game and great release discount. Already own it from a Humble Bundle, but will buy another copy to support the developers.

GOG could at least offer the soundtrack for sale as DLC. I don't know about Steam, but the Goblin Menace soundtrack is included in the Humble Bundle.

That's specifically for Trine 2: Complete Story on Humble, I assume? It's absent from either Trine 2: Collector's Edition and Trine 2: Goblin Menace DLC versions I have. Agreed on OST as DLC though, quite a few games have it that way on Steam.

The point is that most people interested in this game already own it. This is a very good addition to GOG, but it's a couple of years too late for most of us. Why even put a game in bundles before it's for sale in all the major online stores?

Id say there would be a few BUT only those who were even aware it was in a given bundle. Most is making too much of an assumption
Some devs put games in bundles as a marketing tactic if its on release. Others put it in bundles when games are on their last legs to squeeze a few more customers out...imho...
