The stronger you push against evil, the stronger it pushes back.

The Black Mirror 2, a second encounter with ancient evil in the sequel of the mystery-packed dark adventure game, is available 20% off on GOG.com. That's only $7.99 for the first week.

When solitary Darren Michaels befriends the beautiful Angelina, he has no idea what the fates hold in store for him. The alluring Angelina has also attracted the eye of several others; and when she suddenly disappears, Darren finds himself questioning what has happened to her as he is haunted by a series of torturous and ever-intensifying nightmares. Darren’s search for his missing friend and his own sanity take him on a chilling expedition from his small New England town to the reigning evil of Black Mirror Castle. During his journey, Darren will become immersed in the dark secrets and turbulent history of the castle’s ill-fated Gordon Family. Legend has it that the Gordons were haunted by an ancient curse that ultimately led to their demise more than a decade ago. Will Darren be able overcome these demons and find Angelina? Or will he become the curse’s next victim?

The Black Mirror 2 opens before you a dark and captivating world as the massive evil of Black Mirror Castle is reincarnated with over 100 atmospheric locations to explore and 40 different characters to interact with. A frightening, interactive setting is brought to life with elaborate animations and highly detailed backgrounds.
The game features over ten hours of recorded dialogue and an original orchestral soundtrack (available as a bonus OGG download).

If you think of yourself as a brave gamer, you can risk entering the towering cursed castle in The Black Mirror 2, for only $7.99. The 20% off release discount offer lasts until Tuesday, July 29, at 9:59AM GMT.
Sweet release! Haven't played this one yet. Glad to see this series being offered here at GOG! Yippee!
Added it to the wishlist like the previous Black Mirror game .
Yeah ! Another adventure game without french. Thanks to GOG for these new releases, that's forgetting easily people who likes to play adventure games in their nativ language (french/italien/spanish/...). I'm a good buyer/player here, but this game will be another that I'll not buy. Adventure games are so full of dialogs, reading notes & books, ... Too hard and boring to play such games with the obligation of translate everything every seconds. Slowly but surely, I buy less and less games on GOG. Because of the disparition of french subtitles/languages of games that already have been sold in french in their box version. Very desapointing ... I hope in a future that every games will be released in all the languages they've really got, and not only the typical (easiest/cheapest way) english/german.

IAmSinistar: And another instant purchase to replace an inferior version from elsewhere. Roll on the third installment...
Which one? And inferior in what way?

This one. No soundtrack, no updates, and no clear indication of DRM status. Was part of a package deal I bought there a while ago.
@ GOG.

Come on guys, I know you guys are overworked and underpaid but please a little proof reading before posting...

(available as a bonus OGG download)...and again on the game card page in "things you get for free with purchase" soundtrack is also listed as OGG.

I'd fix it for you if I could.

On another note interesting release. My interest is piqued.

That would be OGG/Vorbis, as in the lossless sound format. OGG is correct.

Yazorius: ...
I'm quite sure if GOG could legally include that language they would. (Interestingly, the Steam version only includes English.)

But if you can get the French version inexpensively elsewhere (like Amazon), that's fine.

LucianX: 2. Could you guys release Overclocked: A history of Violence if you own it?
It's impossible to find these days and it looks like an interesting adventure.

BreOl72: Hello, do you speak German?
If so - here in Germany is a Online Shop with a digital download of "Overclocked - Eine Geschichte über Gewalt".

As far as I know, it's DRM-free.

Only available in German, from Germany. Appreciate the effort, but a digital international version is simply far more desirable (for everyone, not just me)

Well then I'll just add some ketchup to my foot in mouth. I clearly stand corrected.

Thank you for setting me straight.

@ GOG, I apologize for my earlier comments. Do you have a towel so I can wipe this egg off of my face?

Sir, many a time my own foot has been resident in my very own mouth, often with a side of egg on face. No worries.

Niggles: But is there a reason why Titan quest hasn't been released here yet?
avatar
ThomNG: Yes, Gamespy shut down their Multiplayer service and we need to implement a new one first :)

Darksiders needs a DRM free version first before it can come to GOG.

And guess what, Black Mirror III will follow soon.
Hm, for all I know TQ never had strong multiplayer support. Anyhow, I played it in SP mode and thought it was perfectly enjoyable that way. ( One of my top favourite PC titles, actually. ) I guess you guys could always release it as is, and later add the MP support, if there's enough demand for it... ?

Anyhow, Black Mirror 2 is a great adventure game. Absolutely worth the money.

A good day on GOG release-wise - cheers Nordic Games and GOG! :-)
