The stronger you push against evil, the stronger it pushes back.

The Black Mirror 2, a second encounter with ancient evil in the sequel of the mystery-packed dark adventure game, is available 20% off on GOG.com. That's only $7.99 for the first week.

When solitary Darren Michaels befriends the beautiful Angelina, he has no idea what the fates hold in store for him. The alluring Angelina has also attracted the eye of several others; and when she suddenly disappears, Darren finds himself questioning what has happened to her as he is haunted by a series of torturous and ever-intensifying nightmares. Darren’s search for his missing friend and his own sanity take him on a chilling expedition from his small New England town to the reigning evil of Black Mirror Castle. During his journey, Darren will become immersed in the dark secrets and turbulent history of the castle’s ill-fated Gordon Family. Legend has it that the Gordons were haunted by an ancient curse that ultimately led to their demise more than a decade ago. Will Darren be able overcome these demons and find Angelina? Or will he become the curse’s next victim?

The Black Mirror 2 opens before you a dark and captivating world as the massive evil of Black Mirror Castle is reincarnated with over 100 atmospheric locations to explore and 40 different characters to interact with. A frightening, interactive setting is brought to life with elaborate animations and highly detailed backgrounds.
The game features over ten hours of recorded dialogue and an original orchestral soundtrack (available as a bonus OGG download).

If you think of yourself as a brave gamer, you can risk entering the towering cursed castle in The Black Mirror 2, for only $7.99. The 20% off release discount offer lasts until Tuesday, July 29, at 9:59AM GMT.
We can expect Black Mirror 3 coming soon :)

Punished_Snake: Ouch. I really don't know why some poeple love this series so much. I've played all those titles, completing them (excluding BM1, because the first time I died I uninstalled the game, I don't really want to make three hours of gameplay from the beginning) and...they are no scary at all, there's no suspence, some characters including the main one (2 and 3) are awful...yes, it has a good graphics engine, but that's all.
I totally agree. There was a great halo around these games here in Czech because the series were made by a Czech developers, but I found the games to be tedious, uninspired, and void of both mystery and suspense. Plus, the dialogue is badly written, and the pacing is very slow. There are much better games out there.

Yeah - http://www.gog.com/forum/general/release_the_black_mirror_2/post9
The only notable thing about this release is that the original had rather terrible Starforce protection, so now you can play the games without letting it to screw your computer up.
Dear GOG, please release these following games I want to play:

Does BM3 use the same graphical style with the static perspective as 1-2?

It looks pretty much the same of BM2.
Yeeeey so now I just need to wait a bit longer to finally play the BM3:) I've finished first two (whch both are really decent classic point and clicks) and got the third one previously from other online retailer but I was unable to play it due to some weird language bug which was starting the game without sound and with all german texts (including the menu) preceded by some weird symbols (without any option of changing it anywhere) even though it was english only version... never managed to figue it out so i hope GOG version wil run more smoothly:)

LucianX: 2. Could you guys could release Overclocked: A history of Violence if you own it?
It's impossible to find these days and it looks like an interesting adventure.
Yes, please! It was added to a magazine here in Poland some time ago, but I can't get that disc to work again for some reason.
The game itself... well, I expected it to be much better than it really is, but still it's pretty decent.

Wait, wait, wait. You say BM1 character was BETTER than the one in II and III?

Hello, do you speak German?
If so - here in Germany is a Online Shop with a digital download of "Overclocked - Eine Geschichte über Gewalt".

As far as I know, it's DRM-free.

No, I didn't like BM1 too, in fact I've played it until the part where you can die by touching an electric cable.

I completely agree with that, I really want to play Overclocked again!! I never got to finish the game, had a great story and I no longer own the cd. It would definitely be an instant purchase.

I'll still give II and III a shot (bought them already for 5 PLN, so around 1,25 € each) but I really hoped the protagonist is a little better.
