tburger: Indie releases day only :-(

Bloodygoodgames: Tuesday is always indie release day.

Thursday is old games release day.

Why always the goddamn whining. Gets really old :(
I haven't seen much whining lately; I think it just seems that way because of all the whining months ago. (Besides, what counts as whining, and what counts as expressing one's dissatisfaction?)
And tburger is right, GOG isn't exactly consistent.

That being said, we got several good old games last week, presumably because of the indie releases today. (And of course freakin SS2.) I too feel "meh" about the new stuff, so I am hoping for on oldie(s) to be released on Thursday.

RaggieRags: What I was thinking. The meager extras don't really add incentive.

Bloodygoodgames: You can buy the entire soundtrack on their website for 5 bucks -- all proceeds go to the independent musician who composed 15 tracks for this game, and is probably living on not very much money at all.

The developers who created the game are a husband and wife team who, if you buy the game on their website, donate 15 percent of all their proceeds to the Red Cross.

But hey......that doesn't fit in with the current GOG mentality of so many -- "I want a game that lasts at least 40 hours, with a manual, an artbook, the entire soundtrack, bonus DLC and avatars, but I'll only pay 3 bucks for it".

The Me Me Me syndrome of so many on GOG is getting more and more disgusting as time goes on. Whining, complaining and angry because they can't get exactly the game THEY want with exactly the extras THEY want for a price that in most countries won't even buy a goddamn latte.

I need to just turn off my computer as I'm so damn sick of half the people I come across on the internet.

The whining about a fucking GAME drives me insane. Get some REAL problems and then we'll talk. Aaargggghhhh.
You haven't posted in a while (as far as I've seen), and then show up and do what comes across to me as "whining" in and of itself? With all due respect, perhaps it's time to take another break from forums.

Fighting in exotic locations. That is the hint.

If you agree with the complaint, it's valid criticism.

If you disagree, it's entitled whining and nerdrage.

Oh that's right! Kinda vague, but TET's weekly video "clues" help to remind that oldies are coming every week.

Most Ironic Post of the Day Award goes to...
Looks interesting...To anyone who has bought it, does it include a kind of manual within the game? or possibly a tutorial?

Aningan: Wishlisted for now but chances are I'll be getting it from a bundle in a couple of months or so.

I'd rather buy it here than in a bundle but if it's already that cheap in a month or two when I get this I'll go that route. Awesome avatar, love PSIV.
Wishted for now. Thanks GOG.

No manual, but in the beginning, there are tooltips everywhere to guide you. You'll quickly and easily get the hang of things.
I enjoyed the beta demo, so I am definitely going to pick this up some time later.
Looks cool! Going to pick this one up when I can.

Fever_Discordia: Am I the only one who thinks that the character on the gamecard page (I assume she's the main PC) looks like the commander from Babylon 5? - Claudia Christian
http://claudiachristian.net/
Actually she looks very, very similar to Anne Mönkkönen.

EDIT: For clarity, I'm referring to Sarah, not Claudia Christian :P

Would love to buy this and 99 levels of hell now but after System Shock 2, Larry 7, the incredible machine pack(gem promo), Deus Ex(from the Square sale), King's Quest 1-6, and the Zork games(just need to get Grand Inquisitor and I'm set on those) I really need to take a breather here.
Awesome, excellent game. Bought this when it was in alpha this past fall on Desura, and I'm buying it on GOG today. It's not often I double dip, but the devs seem like good people and it's one of those increasingly uncommon games the world needs more of.
looks like my kind of thing, wishlisted till end of the month :)
