GOG.com is kicking off regular Twitch shows!

Starting this Thursday, at 8:00PM GMT (that's 1:00PM PST, 4:00PM EDT), we're bringing GOG.com original shows to our official Twitch.tv/gogcom channel, with some really great hosts, entertaining let's plays, premiere spotlights, and an occasional early look. With all the possibilities that the game streaming service offers, we're excited to connect with you, dear GOG gamers, in yet another way. We've got so many games to show you - both new releases and all-time favorite GOG classics. This should be fun!

Each Thursday, at 8:00PM GMT, one of our Twitch guest hosts will be going online with a live stream full of gaming goodness. We want to start with something off-beat, original, and quirky to make sure that GOG.com Twitch channel lives up to your expectations. That's why we'll be streaming a Devolver Digital release, Hatoful Boyfriend, the indisputable king of pigeon dating sims. Our host tomorrow: BaerTaffy, a Twitcher known for his refined taste in indie games, and a connoisseur of classics.

Join us tomorrow at 8:00PM GMT on our official Twitch.tv/gogcom channel to see our first streaming gameplay and meet the first guest host. Subscribe and stay with us, to find out what shows we have in store for the coming Thursdays and what other fantastic hosts did we invite to our channel.

That was pretty good. One suggestion to the GOG guys for future streams regarding code drops though, I think on Twitch it works better to do mini contests and PM winners rather than publicly dropping them because of the amount of people present spamming the code. Or maybe just randomly giving them away or something.

I got one of the codes and it seemed to activate alright, I was going to use it to grab Hatoful for my own adventures in pudding but by the time I'd navigated to where it was (page 45 ><) the code threw an error and said to reload the page, at which point it had expired.

It doesn't bother me - I think I'll grab the game anyways because I want to see what it's like with the human avatar mode enabled, but if a twitch user wasn't already a GOG user it's possible it could put them off the site.

Thanks for the stream anyways, I enjoyed it and I'll certainly check it out again.

JudasIscariot: We tested the game and there are definitely pigeons inside :P Besides, one shouldn't exclude other species of bird from participating, that's just discriminatory :)
Look, I'm not a bigot! I have nothing against parakeets. In fact, some of my best friends are parakeets. But I can't stand it when parakeets try to force their liberal agenda into video games!

I guess this whole Pigeons+ thing just isn't for me...

Prian: Is it possible that GOG is concentrating on one thing at a time? How about getting this site runnning properly again and then strive for world domination?
We are but marketing and web developers are two different departments around here so while Marketing does their thing, the web devs do theirs :)

You should ask support to rename your nick to Geriatrix. :-)
