Not ironic at all though? Hm... I just find it strange that desperadoes went for three whole pages complaining about what a waste of time it was trying to get reputation. It was almost like he was intentionally contradicting himself at every turn. That's all. meh.
For instance, he seemed to be fixated on the idea of people being obsessed with gaining rep.
I found the whole thread very... well, strange.

If GoG didn't have the community it had I wouldn't be checking everyday to post stuff here, if I wasn't checking everyday I'd forget about the site or not notice any new games up for sale. If I don't do that I might miss a game I'd buy and thats one less sale for GoG.
Besides, I like it here, and some people would have nothing to do all day if there were no forums or rep system! Think of their poor bored little souls, oh god somebody please!
