Typhoon45: But seriously, gg guys. Hopefully they'll let me in to Mafia #4 after my poor show here o.O
I don't think you did badly just because you got lynched - you can't exactly avoid a cop investigation on you after all (though you could have argued against it, but Vitek bussed you too). Probably a bit more activity earlier on may have allayed initial suspicions though. :p

But I like your death scenes. I say they should lynch you early in GM4 just to see your death throes. :) Also, what was the deciding factor in the end that made you choose GoJays over Naz to kill, when we were deciding between the two in the QT? Don't think I ever asked. Just random in the end?

Robbeasy: Bah -that observation of jess having a very convenient roleclaim was spot on!!

You must have laughed yourselves silly at me and Baz going at it.....

never pegged Vitek though - good play.
Take that double quotes merging. Nyeh.

Not laughing myself silly no, but I was halfway wondering if Roosh would come on and perhaps consider voting you (had no idea what suspicions Roosh had at that point) and make it so the entire mislynchwagon on lylo consisted of townies heh. Then Vitek had to mess it up by voting! :p

I think I was mainly trying to decide who was more active in the game, and lynch the other dude, but then I thought that maybe GoJays was lurking because he had a power role.

Well, at least I was right :P
Hey guys, did I miss something again?

Robbeasy: Oh and Baz - i expect a full apology and a big grovel at some point in the next 24 hours......;o))
Yeah, you've got it. I'm honestly sorry. We must have been quite a spectacle. Expect a PM from me and a bouquet of flowers (on second thoughts, just the PM).

So Vitek and Jess. Well played, you two.

What? No "grats" for Typhoon? I would have lived if not for BOTH of the cops investigating me consecutively.

All in all, what Nazarush did is evil... outing me before our nefarious deeds came to fruition.

I guess that you could have said...

*dons sunglasses*

It's a trap.

Here, have some grats too, Admiral. They're a bit smaller, though.
Hey congrats mafia team! Fun game. I was hoping to leave enough clues to lynch Typhoon in the event I got nightkilled, but also wanted to keep him alive as long as I was alive... which wasn't for long. Kudos to you for offing me when you did.

Zchinque: I hope everyone have enjoyed the game, and I would like to hear any comments that you may have.
My own thoughts, full role PMs, and more to come.
You said you'll add your thoughts, have you forgotten us or have you decided we don't deserve it? :-)

Thanks for reminding me. I went to Amsterdam right after the game finished, and then it kinda slipped my mind...

Anyway,,,

I thought this game was very winnable for the town, even down to the last day. Sure, being at LYLO is rough, in particular with two scums still lurking about.

Let's take a look at it.

This might be a little harsh, but Rob shouldn't have been lynched. GhostQlyph, dead and thus confirmed townie, said something to the effect that Rob was 95%-confirmed townie in her PM. While the lyncher-aspect of her role muddled things a little, she had no reason to be lying about this. In these cases it's pretty much always better to look for other targets (in particular when there are more than 1 mafia left). The, say, 2% of the time were the "confirmed townie" turns out to actually be scum, you'll just chalk it down as a bitter loss, go ballistic in the postgame and yell at whoever it was that confirmed the scumbag.
When a dead town mason has confirmed the other mason to be town, the percentage play will always be to leave that mason alone.

Jess claimed survivor - a somewhat common falseclaim for scum. For some reason the town figured that "the claim matched her play". Sure, I can see that. But then again, a survivor will usually try to stay out of the spotlight somewhat (to prevent being lynched), not scumhunt too much (to prevent being nightkilled), and in general not care too much about the town's chances of winning. In short, in many ways survivors play like mafia.
In general, survivor claims should always be put under a lot of scrutiny. If possible, it's also often a good idea to vig claimed survivors - first of all, that gets any falseclaiming mafia, but getting rid of actual survivors is good because in a LYLO situation the survivor has every incentive to vote along with the mafia to end the game.

I'm also surprised that Vitek, claimed name cop, wasn't under more scrutiny the last day. While this would be modgaming to a degree, the town already had two investigative roles down, among them a full cop.
While Vitek did "out" Typhoon as Jacques Villeneuve, there are two things to take into consideration here. First, Typhoon was very likely to be lynched anyway, by that point. And second, it would be very easy for a mafia member to fake the name cop role under the circumstances - I don't remember Vitek posting any results on players who hadn't already nameclaimed.
