Coelocanth: Just finished Lord of the Rings:War in the North. Wow, what a good game. Pure Hack and slash, but it was pretty damned fun. Game was beautiful with some extremely well done environments, nice looking armors, good character/creature models, etc.

SimonG: Good to see somebody else besides me enjoyed the game.
you two are not the only one, i loved that game, beat it twice, it used the lore of middle earth very well and was a blast to play
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet
Portal 2. I found it a bit more challenging than the first one, and still a lot of fun. Great purchase for me, as I got it for about 5 bucks, if memory serves (may even have been during the last Christmas sale. Yeah, it takes me that long to get around to some games).

Anyway, this was a good way to spend a few hours.

Grand total so far for this year (although I doubt I'll get around to finishing another one before year's end):

Nox
Saboteur
Alpha Protocol
Trine 2
Bastion
Cogs
Icewind Dale (3 times)
Icewind Dale 2 (twice)
From Dust
Limbo
L.A. Noire
Planescape:Torment
Spec Ops: The Line
Faerie Solitaire
Kingdoms of Amalur:Reckoning
Lord of the Rings: War in the North
Portal 2

20 games completed;17 individual games in total. For me and my slow gaming pace, that's quite good.
I finished Tomb Raider Underworld and it was very good. Really enjoyed that trilogy.

I'll post a recap' later as I think I can manage to finish another game this year.

44. Assassin's Creed III: Liberation (True Ending)- Vita; 12/23/2012 7.5/10: Man.... this game is glitchy as balls. At one point I became a fucking tree... seriously... I was a damn tree... a worthless... unmoving.... damage absorbing tree. Still... at the very least Aveline was a much more entertaining character than Connor (even if her story was not all that entertaining as a whole). One thing I absolutely hated was that the only real way to make money is through your shipping business.... this wouldn't be a problem could you access it at any time or at the least have places to access it littered throughout the world.... instead you can only access it through the safe house... which is often far out of your way..... oh... and the Lady persona is completely worthless. She runs slow, can't climb, is worthless in battle & makes the game altogether frustrating when you are forced to use it. Still... the game is good for what it is & I did for the most part enjoy it.
Alpha Protocol and Miasmata. Both really excellent, if unpolished games. Not for everyone, but I highly recommend both.
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story - DS (9/10)
Trauma Team - Wii (4/10)
Croc 2 - GBC (3/10)
Link to the Past - GBA (7/10)

What can I say, it's been a light year. Barely put a dent in my backlog. I think I may be getting old. :P
I just finished Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. A good game, though it became a bit boring in the end (the last missions were nice, though). I ended up on 93,07% synchronized, with all missions done, but many not 100%, and not all flags found (I missed some in the Lairs) and Guild challenges done (kill streak and jump from horse to beam). Maybe I'll try to make it 100% one day.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution--The Missing Link is now finished. That's 8 so far this year, about average for me. So the total so far stands at:

2012--

The Sims 3: Pets
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition
Alpha Protocol
Beneath a Steel Sky (August 26)
Angry Birds (October 21)
Dishonored (October 27)
XCOM: Enemy Unknown (November 20)
Deus Ex: Human Revolution--The Missing Link (December 23)

Sensible World of Soccer ▒ 84% ►;

Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura ▒ 82% [☺☻];
Master of Orion II: Battle at Antares ▒ 89% [☻] ►;
Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic ▒ 66% [☻];
Divine Divinity ▒ 71%;
Little Big Adventure ▒ 89% ►;
The Last Express ▒ 70%;

Initially the plan was to write brief impressions after playing each of the games, but how many would actually read that.

I just managed to beat Oddworld. Stranger's Wrath, a solid game, though towards the end some of the fights became a chore.
