You shall perish!

Blade of Darkness (also known as Severance), a brutal and unforgiving TPP action slasher set in a dark and gritty heroic fantasy realm where chaos reigns and evil rises its ugly head to threaten all that is just and good, is available 60% off on GOG.com. That's only $2.39 for the next 24 hours!

The corrupted forces of evil cast a morbid shadow over the land and it seems that all hope is lost. Savage minions of darkness flood the realm and put the races of light towards the edge of extinction. There's but one way to push the invasion back: to answer the aggressors with even more cruelty, anger, and hate-driven passion. Tainted blood of the beasts should flow like rivers, washing the imminent doom away to oblivion. Only four warriors in the entire world have the ruthlessness, bravery, and skill to perform such acts and wage the war against chaos single handed. Tukaram the brutish barbarian strong like an ox, Naglfar the dwarf, known for his sturdiness and iron will, Sargon the knight, who will take any chance to escape infamy, and Zoe the Amazon, the most agile and quickest on her feet--whichever of them chooses to undertake this task, it will be you guiding their hand. Before you succeed, you will perish many times, but death is but an obstacle in this quest.

Blade of Darkness is an arcade fantasy slasher presented in third-person perspective, delivering a substantial challenge even to the most battle-hardned gamers. Known for gory and satisfying combat it boasts four different characters, each with their very own fighting style, specific weapons, and varied unlockable special attacks and combos. The game was praised for atmospheric level and enemy design, great graphics quality (wait till you see the shadows!), and gratifying combat. Exploring the game's many diverse locations and facing one formidable enemy after another, with death always breathing down your neck, makes the game feel quite on par with the recent super-hard fantasy fighting games.

Give the monsters no quarters and become the hero the land needs in Blade of Darkness, for only $2.39 on GOG.com. The offer lasts until Tuesday, July 30, at 9:59AM GMT.
Heck of a good action rpg. Game still holds up well in this day and age but it is tough so be warned.
Wait, wasn't it on a %60 off sale shortly before the Summer seal?

*checks order emails*
Indeed, it was.
Pssst, something went wrong (Balde) while you copy/pasted your links.
Got it in the summer sale or just before it and haven't even had a chance to try it yet.

I don't really class it as an RPG as it hasn't got any stats and characters don't gain levels, it IS pretty good though!
Virtualised my retail copy last time it was on sale

*edit* OK double checking maybe characters DO have levels but the game card doesn't even list 'RPG' as on of the genres...

Same problem here... so many games and so little time.
If only I could give up working and still have money..... (off to Kickstarter)
Instant buy for me :)
You can chop of your enemies' limbs and then use them as weapons :D But beware, the controls are a little odd, and take some time getting used to .

Already own it but nice promo of true classic nonetheless. :p
Hard but very fun. Don't miss this one.
I think I'll pass. I can imagine enjoying this game but at the moment it would just collect the virtual dust. Later. Perhaps.

Mind = Blown
Bloody good game. (you're welcome! ;p)
Nice gem. I'd like too see new games from Codemasters. Seems they focus only racing.
