We're fighting the depressing weather that announces the inevitable approach of autumn with an awesome weekend promo!

Not so long ago we had the Atari-Hasbro games on promo, and this weekend we're putting the 20(!) remaining titles from Atari on offer! So how about getting some of the greatest classics from the Atari catalogue with a flat 50% discount? Get a half-off on The Witcher: Enhanced Edition (only $4.99), Roller Coaster Tycoon series, Outcast ($2.99), Master of Orion series, Alone in the Dark games ($2.99 each) and more! No matter how many games you buy, you get the 50% discount. Check the [url=http://www.gog.com/en/promo/atari_collection]promo page to see the whole offer and don't wait as the promo ends on Monday, October 17 at 11:59 a.m. EDT.

joshdad: Oops, meant to say, "Thanks GOG for listening..." My bad.

I don't think Steam listens to often to it's users, which is why I put GOG as number 1 on my preferred DD.
Just kidding, it's all cool. And I agree, it's great that they actually read feedback on the forums and respond to it sometimes.
ME LIKEY THIS PROMO...!!!
So they finally made me buy Blood 1, the moneygrabbers. Fine! I'll play it AND enjoy it, just to spite them!
Got Alone in the Dark; 3 games for 3 dollars is an absolute steal.
Is Master of Magic really that good? I may yet still get it, I've got the weekend to decide after all. I'm still on the fence about it - I didn't buy it outright since I barely have time to play any of the games I want to, let alone unknowns (to me) like this one.

It's Civilization + fantasy world.

I was kidding about the ban, but I think this was really nice game. But I guess it's my taste, it may be not for yours.
Excellent promo. I bought Desperados. Highly recommended for Commandos fans. Personally, I like it more than Commandos series.
No... i have to resist but i can't...

ok I picked 8 candidates...

1. aitd 1-3
2. outcast
3. iw 1
4. iw 2
5. ta
6. ta:k
7. master of magic
8. master of orion 1-2

now i will roll 1d8 for the amount of games i will buy today...

it's 4!

which ones i choose?

how many genres do we have...
1. survival horror,
2. action-adventure,
3. space-sim,
4. 4x,
5. rts...

i'll definately want an rts, so let's roll 1d4 to see which one I will discard

And the loser is... no. 2! outcast, see you next time.

now which "Master" (1d4) - the number will designate the one i pick:
1-2.of magic
3-4. of orion
...4! technology wins against magic

which TA?
1-2 TA
3-4 TA:K
...1! once again technology wins and dragons have a hard time.

I'll pick iw 1 against Iw2 becouse i usually don't start with sequels.

SO THE WINNERS ARE: Aitd1-3, Masters of Orion, Total Annihilation and Independence War 1. Welcome to my collection!

I like this method!
If you haven't already, this is the perfect time to pick up Outcast. It's a marvolous game. Very immersive, doesn't feel aged at all, and has some really neat voxel visuals with effects like water reflections and depth of field. Also has one of the best musical scores in all of gaming.

joshdad: If this had been the tiered type of sale, I doubt I would have gotten anything
I, on the other hand, if this had been a tiered sale, with each game counting as, say, 5% discount, I would have bought all of them. Yes, all the 20 of them ;)

Oh, and I agree with the previous poster: Outcast is a wonderful game.

summitus: or you want to buy them and dont have the money ?
this
Excellent sale! Made a nice dent in my wish list and a great selection of games to keep me busy for the foreseeable future. My GOG shelf is just getting bigger and bigger!
time to finally pick up Alone in the dark 1+2+3 and masters of orion
been sitting in my wishlist for a while :)
Ok, got Desperados!

But I'm desperado already, since I won't be able to play it until night time.

It would be this or Heroes V on steam (it's a steal there!), but I decided to wait for it on Gog!
