I consider it one of the most frustrating games, not necessarily one of the most difficult. I just hated how I would lose progress over and over, along with the accumulated soul points. It just seemed tailor-made to create despair in the gamer. Which is a shame, because it was a compelling game otherwise.

Escape Goat is that. But at the same time it feels more fair than other games of its ilk, and I felt a sense of joy and accomplishment in completing it. Other games, like Mr. Bree+, just left me feeling hollow by the end.

Cyraxpt: Uhm? Where did you get that from? There's checkpoints (i think, i can't remember) but you can also save outside battles, and you do have loot and inventory.
I'm reading various reviews and one said that.
Maybe a patch fixed those problems?

Then it's a terrible review. While originally the game DID have checkpoints, Save Anywhere was later patched in (and is included in both GoG versions - Base and Dragonfall).

The game always had loot and inventory.

A small question: Hatoful Boyfriend is a flash deal at $2.99 (70%off). But then, this is a 70% off from $9.99 -which is a normal-flat price. And this while the game is supposed to be regionally priced. And not only that but no regional credit is offered on checkout. So, what's the deal with Hatoful Boyfriend? Has the regional pricing been temporarily removed while the flash deal or is this a glitch of some kind?
Just want to know that to determine how much I'll get to pay-$2.99 or something else.

Hail, cheesy champion! Yes, GOG has pulled a fast one on us with this incredibly different sale. I can't remember the last time I saw a sale like this, though this may have something to do with my recreational ballpeen hammer usage.

Thanks to the Local Prices Update, Hatoful Boyfriend's European price is no longer higher than the American one.
