Just woke up and it looks like i JUST missed Luftrausers.

And with today being a family-function day and a GoT day, I am going to be away from the screen the vast majority of the day, and then I go to work tomorrow. Going to really have to hope that that one or Banished do not come up during those times...

If Banished ever does show up I think I'm going to have to grab some gift keys. Seems like the top pick for a lot of folks. It's a good game, even if my first run at it ended in the multiple-tragedy extinction of my village. :)

As for myself, Banished is probably the only one in this sale where if I have not caught the flash by sale's end I will just get it for 50% since from what I have read of the experience of others playing it and the reviews and what I have seen in the screenshots it is well worth the $10.00 I would be getting it for then.

Does anyone recommend Anodyne or the Blackwell Bundle?

I have a pretty big backlog that I need to get into and am trying to resist buying games unless they are must haves. I intend to get them eventually but I can always wait for another sale.

I am increasingly of the opinion that the games that have not shown up in the promotion yet which had game images in JMich's image cache are going to be planned flash freebies. Reason being is that GOG did state that there would be freebies as flash sale items, and so it stands to reason that they'd need to have graphics for them. They could of course offer freebies that were also previously for sale in the promo but that would likely upset people who paid for the game if they find out later they could have got a freebie. People are sensitive to such things and I think GOG does try to avoid such unpleasant situations, so the games they are offering as freebie promotions are most likely not going to be for sale as flash sale items and will likely either only be on sale throughout the promo for 50% off, or they'll remain at their regular prices with no discounts. I think it is unlikely that they'd have so many games in a flash promotion and cycle through them several times and have 8 or so that they held off on to insert once in a blue moon differing from the normal rotation of all of the others unless there is something special and unique about them, so I think that special/unique factor is "freebie".

I grabbed Banished in the first few minutes of the sale. It's been at the top of my wishlist since it's release.
Been too busy to watch the sale and at 50% off I'm a happy guy. :-)

I was hanging out in this thread yesterday waffling back and forth about whether I should just buy it at $10 because I think this is the first time I've ever seen it on sale at all.

Your post makes me sad, but I know I will be much more sad if I pick it up and it turns out being further discounted shortly after.

Here's one more soul waiting for it to appear, though not exactly my top pick. ;-)
