I don't know why you guys are blaming GoG and saying it'd be better on steam.

My speeds were the same I get on steam and this version is the best version you can get!

7.1 mb/s downloaded within an hour (finished about 2 hours before this post), no problems whatsoever

So your region isn't getting fast enough speeds? game comes out in 8 days I'm sure it'll either pick up or your DL will be finished by the time release happens. Stop complaining and be patient, if the 15th comes around and you still haven't been able to download the game completely then start complaining.

Until then, just relax.

Lozzen: Living in Denmark, northern Europe. Some of the best connections in the world, and downloading my game with 0.2MB.

Thanks GOG.

Really wish Nvidia had given Steam codes instead of this..
lol

Any idea how many other people are downloading the same thing right now? I live in a rural part of Canada, with some of the worst internet connections in the world (don't ask me why), and I'm getting 0.2MB/s too. Just wrapped up the download and am installing now...a full week before the game releases! So what's the problem?

I could understand if the game was already released for play, but I simply can't understand why people would complain about download speed when they can't play the game for another whole week anyway....

Had some issues with GOG Galaxy regarding download speed and I noticed a lot of fluctuation. I switched over to the GOG Downloader and downloaded The Witcher 3 at full and stable speed.
Hey people, try to use the GOG Downloader instead of GOG Galaxy. On Galaxy the speed was 0.1MB/s, on the Downloader it is 1.8MB/s. They're having some problem with Galaxy, for sure.
Where do i find the GAME EXTRAS when i finished downloading it? i cant find, but it says it finished downloading.

Go to your Documents folder and into the GoG.com Downloads folder, and there should be zip files for everything there.

It depends on where you set to download it :)
using GOG Galaxy preloading at 22MB/S.
Anyone having issues with pre-load pre-loading again?

I got 26gb downloaded yesterday, opened the client again and bam right back at 0 :(

Just began downloading with GOG Galaxy and getting 7.4 mb/s. I live in California, so far so good!
I can't install it either. Told GOG that I want to install on a specific HDD and it keeps using C where I don't have enough space...

I would try installing both the client and the game to a different locations other than the default location (don't use c:\program files (x86) for any part of the process). I personally use c:\games, but you can use any location, as long as you make sure that you have full administration rights to the locations you are trying to use.

As far as speed goes, I had no problems pre-loading TW3 with galaxy. I was able to download the full 24.5 GB at max speed (on a 30 Mbps line), though I am in the US and it was also during off hours. I have downloaded other smaller games during peak hours however, with no issues.
chrisbard you might need to click uninstall.

I first accidental didnt specify download location and it used C: which didnt have enough space.
So I had to uninstall the data it had downloaded before it realized there wasnt enough space,
to enable me to choose an diffrent drive to download to.

mariusmssj maybe you can try that as well if you keep havign problems.
