It looks like XP is slowly getting pushed aside, probably because Microsoft recently and officially dropped support for XP. I can only guess and assume that has something to do with it.

You might want to consider replacing your manually-maintained lists with links to searches generated by my new MaGog search engine.

Here are links to searches for the categories you defined in your first post:

- Games that are NOT "officially" on Windows 8 (but do run on XP, Vista, and 7) on their game cards:
http://www.an-ovel.com/cgi-bin/magog.cgi?scp=gdr&dsp=ipgfsorlcmba&ord=&flt=oal~wxpwviw07~onn~w08~

- Games that are NOT "officially" on Windows 7 (but do run on XP, Vista, 8) on their game cards:
http://www.an-ovel.com/cgi-bin/magog.cgi?scp=gdr&dsp=ipgfsorlcmba&ord=&flt=oal~wxpwviw08~onn~w07~

- Games that supposedly WORK "officially" on XP or Vista (but not 7 or 8), according to their game cards:
http://www.an-ovel.com/cgi-bin/magog.cgi?scp=gdr&dsp=ipgfsorlcmba&ord=&flt=oal~wxpwvi~onn~w07w08~

- Games NOT ON XP (but do run on Vista) on their game cards:
http://www.an-ovel.com/cgi-bin/magog.cgi?scp=gdr&dsp=ipgfsorlcmba&ord=&flt=oan~wvi~onn~wxp~

- Games NOT listed for BOTH XP or Vista on their game cards:
http://www.an-ovel.com/cgi-bin/magog.cgi?scp=gdr&dsp=ipgfsorlcmba&ord=&flt=onn~wxpwvi~

Since these are dynamic searches, they will remain up to date with all GOG changes for as long as my search engine remains online (hopefully quite a while).

Hope this helps.

Wow that's impressive :)

I feel outdone and a bit jealous, but if it's updated more frequently that's a good thing.

Thanks for the effort. I'm glad that someone else was willing to put some effort into this topic.

We're all in it together, struggling to improve the GOG experience.
The MaGog database is automatically updated every day so it'll remain up to date. Computers are much better at that than humans.
P.S. The MaGog forum is here.
Kentucky Route Zero's gamecard must have been updated at some point: it lists Win8 as a compatible OS now.
Z is missing Windows XP support.
Quest for Infamy is missing Windows XP support.

The Steam version of Quest for Infamy has Windows XP support. So I don't get why some gog.com versions of video games don't have it listed on their store page.

SCHEIN is missing Windows XP support.
I just completed Sanitarium. This is not entirely relevant because I was using Linux/wine, but the game did always warn that Windows NT was not supported. I was using the default wine configuration of "Windows XP".
Reportedly MaGOG can't update until parts are rewritten to handle the new look website, so it seems we need this thread again.

Halfway is missing Windows XP support and Windows Vista support.
Kromaia is missing Windows XP support.
This War of Mine is missing Windows XP support.
The Marvellous Miss Take is missing Windows XP support and Windows Vista support.
