No not really,if it ain't broken don't fix it.
Nope. If it works, I'll upgrade, but to be honest, I buy so few high-end games on the PC that I probably won't bother. All it'll do is break compatibility with lots of my existing games.
Nah, not switching windoze until first service pack, as usual. In a year or 2 when it becomes stable (both win and dx12) and has wider support of stuff actually using dx12 to matter.

There won't be any service packs. It'll just be a rolling stream of updates.

And they said its the last Windows so no more after 10.
Still i dont like the name they picked :( why not Windows simple without any numbers?!
My lastest laptop has Windows 8.1, and on the bottom right corner there is this little icon that allows me to reserve a copy of Windows 10. Apparently, it fixes some of the things I find very unintuitive with 8.1, however it also takes more control away from me. In the past I have had updates that made my computer more unstable, and so not having the ability to delay updates until I'm comfortable installing them is quite terrible.

Well whatever they decide to call it, 10.1, Second Edition :P It's simply a fact that they need some time and serious patching to make stuff usable and stable, and I'm having enough hassle beta testing other software that is claimed to be 'release' to do that on OS level too.

Ahh, semantics, I suppose they decided to copy Apple then (Mac OS X, Windows 10).

Not switching. Win 7 works fine. Dunno why they bother to keep making new ones.
Doubt I`ll bother with it, 7 works well enough.

Oh, as for AMD new 300 series, wasn`t it leaked the other day that they`re just rebranding some chips & that there`s nothing super duper new tech?

yes they have even rebranded gpus.
Check the 300 Fury series ones with HBM1 ;)

Pascal from Nvidia will have HBM2 (high bandwidth memory)

Or better wait for Volta gpus :P
4K ready.. maybe 8K by then :D
Reserving started a while ago, I remember seeing a post about it about a month ago and I got my invitation three weeks ago.
Not excited at all. Why should i? It's just a OS.
Besides, if Microsoft still follows the "Every second version of Windows is crap"-rule, Windows 10 will be about as bad as the original Windows 8 (befoire it was fixed with 8.1) or Vista or ME.
Windows 7 runs fine for me, will have support until 2020 at least and i guess by then they already released or at least announced Windows 11. I guess i switch then since surely a lot of games won't support this outdated OS then.

It's the same in Windows 7.
I guess Microsoft really wants everybody to switch to Windows 10 which makes me wonder why.
If i was wearing a tinfoil Hat i'd bring up some conspiracy theory about how Windows 10 spies you out even more and records everything you do on your PC which is the reason why everybody gets annoyed with "Switch to Windows 10", "Reserve your copy now!"

Facepalm.
