Just saw Disalpha's video on the subject
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AldxiAfmWE I must say that I'm really disappointed with how GOG is handling this. GOG management I love your customer service but there comes a time were you have to put the needs of your own workers first. I really can't expression enough how satisfied I've been with gog support staff as they have helped me over the years from getting games to work to optimising old games for newer computers. You clearly have good people working for you and I think these people deserve a comfortable work environment.
I'm not even going to get into the whole politics of the situation but I'm am going to say this. Form what I've been seeing, it's like your guys are walking on eggshells because you're afraid of who you might offend or how someone might react. But is this fair? To you, to your staff? I didn't know Sean Halliday personally but he must have done something right to get a job in the first place and it wouldn't surprise me if the atmosphere after his departure is "oh god what if I'm next."
Do whatever you can to purge that atmosphere from your offices and work environments and don't be so afraid of people people online say. This even includes me.
I was thinking of creating a new open letter to gog management but I think that will just open more problems for them, so hopefully they’ll just see this.
