This is going to sound silly but it did freak me out. A couple of weeks ago I put in a request to support to help me clean out my "My Account" files and when this happened today I thought, "Oh shit, I crashed the whole forum!" I could just picture someone trying to tweek my account and accidentally wiping everyone else's out.

Still says Sign Up / Log In on my account page.

While I can now see the "Account tab" again it shows me that I have 1 unread message all the time... even if there is no message... and also this Sign Up/Log In stuff is appearing while going to my account...

Not that it makes much of a difference in terms of usability, but if you access your account pages via any of the revamped pages (front page, game pages, r̶e̶d̶e̶e̶m̶ ̶g̶i̶f̶t̶-̶c̶o̶d̶e̶s̶*), then the account button appears as should, at least on Firefox and Pale Moon. It's just a visual thing though, as the button doesn't really work as should on the non-revamped account pages.


*the notification flags don't refresh properly, so not an option.

Finally happened to me as well when I logged out and cleared my browser history. Now I am getting the "Sign Up or Log in" in all pages except the home page and the community page while also not getting any notifications for forum replies anymore. This issue is far from fixed and GOG needs to find a permanent solution for this.

not a nice solution, but go to the main store page and go back in the forums, the buttons should have gone (except the secure pages >.>)

i don't have any nice word for GOG atm, the quality of the website (the store pages seems ok, but the rest :X) is just more & more broken and i'm tired of the same reply from their support.

I'm still having a problem with GOG. When I go to my library, there is still "sign up or login" where account should be.

Great. New problem. First, whatever avatar you may see from me now: that is old as shit. I'm not using that now.
Second: I can't change avatar.
Third: Log In / Sign Up buttons are where the Account should be when I'm in my library.

I mean c'mon. How long is this shit gonna last?

EDIT: I can change avatar. But why in the hell do I need to enter my password for something so simple? It's not like I gonna add or remove my credit card.

It seems that with exception of forum replies and logout, all options on the account button still show a login button once selected.
