Yep, it's sports games after all.

EA holds a monopoly on a number of sports franchises, and as a result you get the same shitty game year after year.

Madden has been terrible for a long time. The NBA at least has two companies making games. MLB has The Show, but those games are exclusive to PlayStation when they should be ported over to Steam and Xbox One.

Many of the good sports games from back in the day you cannot get because of licensing issues. Which is a shame, but that's the nature of the beast.

I still have the cd for Golden Tee Golf but it has'nt worked since XP. It was just like the bar game except you used your mouse instead of a trackball. Three courses . fun game.

there was one my brother found in the dial up days. I remember the graphics being kind of space/sci fi looking with some crazy courses. cant remember the name and it pisses me off.

There is a pretty good, not great but good, Mini Golf game on Steam called "3D Mini Golf". It's also only $2 right now.
Looking over there actually seems to be a lot of nice ones. "Dangerous Golf". It's pricey but I might have to have it.

Personally I won't be happy till they bring back the old table golf games with the giant roller ball you'd have to slam, most likely resulting in knocking everyone's drinks off the table.
