I got some games I wanted, and gave a friend some he might like, so overall I am happy with this insomnia.
I'm relieved it has finally ended. It was a kinda annoying promo, expecting me to be 24/7/365/100 in front of the monitor, not even taking a dump at any point in order not to miss a deal. I got a few nice games though, I'm especially happy for Among the Sleep, but still I missed Wasteland 2. Oh well, some other time then.

For me 99% of the time was mere waiting anyway, as I have most of the games already.

Back to normal promos, yay. At least they show you right away if you have the game already, or not.

Whatever the reason for the promo to end prematurely, I want GOG to apologize and provide some explanations. If the publishers set a time limit on the sale then GOG should not have said that the sale would go on until the last unit was sold.
The concept of an ongoing time-sensitive sale is great, but I think instead of basing the sale on made up numbers of "supplies" they should just put every game on short timers and say "get 'em while you can". Each title will get 3 different times; 5 minutes in its first round, 2 minutes in its second round, and 30 seconds in its third round. This way, GOG can control the time of the sale and players don't have to suffer through 7 hours of a game not selling fast.

Agree. It doesn't do marvels to their reputation, in my eyes.
If it was intended, it was the worst and most anti-climax ending of a sale ever. And if I was the developer/publisher of one of the titles that didn't appear in round tree, I would be quite angry.

^ This. It's insulting how GOG does not communicate anything anymore, and in the rare cases they do, it's just to hype with template PR talk. This fresher GOG certainly isn't better.
As I see there is no blue replying, maybe the blues collapse from the insomnia?

The new default avatars remind me of board game pieces - I call Mrs Peacock, in the general forum, with the sleep deprivation!

PalioDeMonte: There may be sales with better deals, but the fun in the "Tracker Thread" was invaluable!
Precisely. This is where the real allure of Insomnia lies. Though the loss-of-sleep aspect of the sale is pretty catchy, too. :)
Meh, I got almost everything I wanted, only missed one game . So I'm satisfied .

Don't give them any ideas how to make the Insomnia sales even worse. O_o
Just noticed this. What in the name of Fire Within, GOG......?!?

I understand that the sale was taking so long, but you can't just end it like that without explanation.

I got everything I wanted, but I don't like this. Keane has abandoned us... :(
I love GOG and I love all of you,

BUT I HATE THAT FUCKING SALE! :P
