SoanoS: ...but wouldn't using a script be considered cheating?

The fact someone made this script to save time really says something about the promo itself.
Why'd it be cheating? They're interested in selling a certain number of games as fast as possible, and scripts help people buy them, so they help their goal without even requiring them to put any resources into making them. Hell, even if all purchases would be automatically made by bots, it'd still be good enough for them.

And people make a lot of scripts for GOG. Or entire engines, see MaGog...

Sorry to hear about your health issues though.

Ciris: I wanted to pop in and address why we “cut the sale short”, and it is a shame that some of you didn’t get to grab the titles you wanted - but as you probably noticed, things were getting a little slow after each game appeared a few times. Old games ran out completely at promo prices, and the fresher ones were not going down as fast, so the whole excitement of the sale was slowly leaving us (and some of you)…

Also, we had to get back from watching the site, the games and updating promos to our “normal” work schedules - to organise some other stuff that we’re planning. It’ll be really exciting and you’ll want to get some sleep in before it happens ;)

sherringon456: hmmm what could it be?. More lucasarts games? more paradox games? more wb games? fallout returns and other bethesda games? Return of nordic? another new publisher? or something completely different not new game related?. The fact that he says that you'll want to get some sleep in before that suggests it will probably happen today or tommorow (If it was to happen later they would say you should get multiple rounds of sleep in or not say anything) so watch this space...
that would be awesome...
i bought some less known new games cheap at the insomnia, to try them out....
the old games are known to me so i know what they play like,
more ancient stuff like maniac mansion (orginal if possible)
would be great, also alot of titles i still have on retail cd wont even work on win xp cause its 16bit apparently
i have at least 10 old retail games (16bits i guess)that i never got to finish cause they simply wont work on xp or later, i still have them however. The cds are a bit scratched because of the spinning in the cdrom, but the manuals are in quite good to very good condition.

You could use dosbox for them. I don't really play games of that era and although I've downloaded dosbox I don't understand it so you might have to use tutorials for it.

thanks for the reply and suggestion, i tried dosbox 3 years ago and it was not a success
After some cleaning i found some old retail games (cd) dos, win95, 16bits
These wont work ofcourse so i tried that dosbox again, 2 days ago, after 3 hours wuthout any progress i gave up.
So dosbox is not for me.

Try using dfend reloaded, makes everything much easier.
