Wait what? They just axed the promo?

opticq: I think they realized it was taking too long and they didn't want it going any longer. 7 days for Insomnia is a lot
Also keep in mind on Monday is "staff pick" sale day so 3 sales at once might have been the reason. Not excusing it just saying a somewhat logical argument they might have felt they had.

Then just cut all of the copies to 50 each, simple. Or a max of 100 depending on whether it's a game or movie. Atleast give a chance to people who waited 2 entire days for just 1 item. Come on GOG.
Looks like they set up a one week time limit.

That would of been nice to know...
They had to end it to make room for this week's LucasArts releases.

I...am conflicted.
So who really stayed up all week for this thing.

Source, please. Otherwise I shall call that mere speculation.

One could possibly die of exhaustion at that length.

Barry was merely joking but we can all dream right :)
I was awake almost the whole night waiting for the AVGN movie to show up again. Can't say I'm too pleased with this.

Fair point besides maybe you were trying to win it in the final go.
Lack of communication, now that's a big one in the workforce and it's pretty ripe at Gog too..

No, we have to stay awake to watch the games!
This sale lasted a loooong time, way longer than others. Maybe it wasn't as succesful and got cut short?
COME ON!@#

So I stayed awake yesterday through today with only catnaps broken up by a shrieking alarm clock to finally have a chance to buy Signal Ops for nothing? I think some basic explanation is warranted here.
