Will keep "The Prince" by Niccolò Machiavelli on the desk beside my bed as soon as it arrives (I ordered a gift for a friend's birthday and I had to add a few bucks on top of it to avoid shipping fees :P).

Right now: The Hidden Reality by Brian Greene.

Really, really good book. A must read for cosmologists, popular science fans or generally any science enthusiast. Right on scale with Greene's previous works.

Also, I'm about to begin with En Gammel Romfarers berettninger (in English: "The accounts of an old astronaut") by Jon Bing. Norwegian science fiction that has never been translated to English as far as I know. I read it once before a decade ago; it's about an old astronaut who describes his journey to various stars and planets around the galaxy, and his encounters with the societies that live on them.

history of the world 1200BC-600BC
started today.
I just finished the second half of The Dresden Files. Now I'm reading the first half of the series, starting with Fool Moon. I'd start with Storm Front first but most of the copies in the libraries are out on loan ATM. The Dresden Files is really an excellent fantasy/sci-fi series. Just...wonderful stuff.
