This thread reminded me and made me play one of my favourite jazz standards, this version played by my all time favourite guitarist :)

Also a version of the Tango "por una cabeza" played by nuado rodrigues

This version he plays is less technical but a lot more passionate

Deep Space House Show 017 | Five Deep Electronic Music Styles In One DJ Set | 2012
Two songs have been sticking out to me at the moment:

Maxi Priest - Wild World: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4ZWD_0VRK8
The Cat Stevens song is fantastic, but this cover fits my feel with the world right now with the reggae beats. Anyways, this song describes how I feel with a girl I have known for years and have been in love with but never had the balls to really say how I felt to her. She is leaving soon and I know for sure that there will be no chance for me to say how I feel. I have to bid a fond farewell and move on with my world much like how this song describes.

For the moving on part...

Tom Novy - Back To The Streets: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaztUsLqPic
Thanks to getting into the GTA III Alpha mod I have been introduced to this former candidate for the game's theme song and the sound has this fresh feel to it that fits with how I am reinventing myself to move on from my darkness I have felt over the aformentioned girl and living in the past. In a way I am taking it back to the streets, taking a crapshoot on how my life will go in the coming months. The beats are just invigorating my strength to push forward and try to become a new man.
I've been listening to these a lot lately(great songs!):

Indila(she's a french singer):

S.O.S- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m65jhGwtWrg&list=UUN2yX1-7Mc36reG_xuR_J5w

Tourner dans le Vide- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtNJMAyeP0s

And a couple of Greek "oldies"(I put oldies in quotes because they're actually late 80's-early 90's songs):

Alexia-Ta koritsia ksenihtane (translation by me:the girls stay up late at night) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SAyIcf5Upo

Sofia Vossou-Anoixi(translation:Spring)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRiDtrf3ktw
(this one was performed in Eurovision in 1991)
