50-80% off Darksiders, Rogue Legacy and Titan Souls.

Once upon a time there was a hero. One little hero against the world. Through thick and thin, dungeons and swarms, he presses on and on! Weekly Staff Picks: Final Boss are a selection of four titles with some of the finest, biggest boss fights that await our hero at the end of the dungeon. At 50-80% off, that hero is you.

One Arrow, One Boss, One Shot, One Kill. Titan Souls is a game that focuses entirely on an unforgiving series of quick and ruthless boss fights. You'll have to observe and learn fiendish attack patterns, to spot your opening, and make the shot. You will die a lot - but each time will be a learning experience. It's a simple, challenging-but-fair action game with a name that's no coincidence…
You may not succeed, but you'll make it your business to help your children succeed. Or maybe their children, or perhaps even their children. In Rogue Legacy, each generation of fighters you control will take advantage of everything that their ancestors have learned to delve deeper and deeper into the mysterious castle looming over your village. On your way you'll encounter peculiar bosses including a floating Eyeball, an anthropomorphic flaming ball of fire, a purple-flaming floating skull, and more deadly curiosities.
Finally, there is Darksiders I and II a story of Death and War - the riders of the apocalypse. With a setting like that, you can only imagine the kinds of towering, massive and unholy horrors that you'll face.

Reach the final boss, get up to 80% off, in this week's Weekly Staff Picks. The promo will last until Thursday, August 27, 9:59 AM GMT.

Stream watch:

See two of these titles in action Tuesday, August 25th, at Twitch.tv/GOGcom!

4pm GMT / 6pm CEST / 12pm EDT / 9am PDT: Rogue Legacy with Memories in 8bit
8pm GMT / 10pm CEST / 4pm EDT / 1pm PDT: Darksiders 2 with Donis
I wonder when it was the last time I bought something from the Weekly Staff Pick. Still, yay for Darksiders and Rogue Legacy.
Grandia 2 today?
Another fairly lackluster pick.
Maybe you guys should go to bi-weekly or monthly picks and then actually make them interesting.

Nothing lackluster about it. Rogue Legacy and Darksiders are great. Dunno anything about Titan Souls .
Nothing for me either. My fault really, I already own about 85% of everything I'm interested in from GOG.
This is the 1st weekly staff pick I'm buying from in months -I may have both Darksiders I +II on my wishlist, but I wanted to get Darksiders I 1st so that I'm sure I like the concept before moving to the 2nd installment. So a good staff pick for me!
On another note though, I noticed something weird ; apparently the possibility of gifting the Darksiders games has been disabled for Greek IPs. I say Greek IPs, because from what I recall, when I went to the checkout during the summer sale (which was before I left Cyprus for the holidays) multiple times while thinking whether or not to to buy the Darksiders bundle, I don't recall noticing such a thing (I may remember wrongly though). So is this restriction present to other countries as well, or just Greece or something?
Anyways, thanks in advance for your opinions on this!
p.s. the pic shows only darksiders 2 +dlc, but I got the same message on darksiders 1 too...

I'm definitely sure that this didn't happen when it was first released and when it was discounted a second time during the summer sale. Also, it's strange that it occurs with Darksiders 1 and Darksiders 2 DLC Pack, but not with Darksiders 2 itself.

I get the same message, so it's not only Greece.

Yep, was about to post the same thing myself.

It's not just Greece. I get the same message when I try to buy Darksiders II + DLC with a German IP. Which doesn't make much sense, because the German price for the game is among the highest ones anyway (I think only UK has to pay more).

Edit: Checked it and indeed the UK has to pay more. And not just a little bit more. They have to pay insane $30.99 instead of $19.99!!! This is really ridiculous regional pricing.

I see...So, if I got it right, apparently (according to Grargar's authority) this restriction didn't apply neither on release nor on the summer sale, but now is applied not only in Europe (as per the report of real.geizterfahr), but also in places outside of Europe (as per the report of huN73R). I wonder whether people from the US would be able to buy these games as a gift or these cannot be gifted by anybody anymore -because obviously restricting only the Russian regions from buying cheap gifts and reselling them wasn't possible or something and many other places in the world had to be shafted too...

edit-saw the replies of PaterAlf and Licurg only after I posted but these still confirm the theory that the rest of Europe also cannot gift these games for whatever reason...

I don't think that there are currently any games on GOG that restrict gifting from a Russian IP (with the possible exception of the current Darksiders discovery). It used to be that Witcher 3 was not giftable from a Russian IP, but close to its release date, the restriction became worldwide and has yet to be lifted.
