RedRagan: So we are giving out recommendation in this thread? Ok so let me gush about Shadow Tactics: Blade of the Shogun. The game is just "Chef's kiss" amazing! It's such a damn shame that mainstream gaming media ignored it.

Dark_art_: Can't praise this game enough, at this price is a steal. It's very polished, awsome art style and music, cool enough story and good gameplay. Also, this game is "SaveScumReady ™", meaning that you have a fast save/load feature and is quite fitting to the gameplay style.
Note that this is a RTS but plays very slowly, sometimes you have to wait a couple of minutes so the enemies can be at the right place, this isn't a bad thing since most of the time your controlling at least 3 "heroes" at once.

The name Shadow Tactics comes from the very tactical gameplay (with little strategy) and the shadow mode, that is used to "record" movements and execute them all at once with a single press of a button. It actually works pretty good and is great to get timing right.
I'm mentioning it because in my first playtrough I had some "technical dificulties" (also known as BrainFarts) and didn't notice how to properly use Shadow mode at first, wich could make the game flow much more, with less lockouts.

I recently had a 13 yo using my desktop pc for a week and he finished the game, only resorting to youtube on the last mission. Not a very dificult game if you take your time.

Performance wise, it runs ok with only 4GB of RAM and my first playtrough was on a Intel i3 7100u integrated graphics (HD 620) machine, with lower resolution, 30fps and frame drops here and there.
You know they're good developers when they able to optimize the game so well it can run on 4gig of RAM (funny, I remember when 4 gig was considered good enough a decade ago). Also do you hear about the new DLC coming this December? Here's the trailer the last part will make us all happy.

One more time with an old friend.

Nervensaegen: Second the recommendation for Gorogoa. It delivers on the promise of the store page. You get exactly what you see: An innovative, enjoyable puzzle game. Short but unique and entertaining.

Robette: lol, I third this recommendation. It is such a beautiful game that just shows what can be done when someone has a good idea for a puzzle mechanic and then makes sure to really thoroughly explore what could be done with it.
And I just bought Gorogoa. Thanks fellas.

Is there much of a difference between the PC and android versions of Slay the Spire? (price aside)

Might have to grab Sheltered (had no idea it was on GOG til now lol)
wow, I own nine of these games and I only played 2 of them since the others were freebies (except Spelunky) that don't really interest me
I think i will buy Kingsway , since a free content update is on its way . =)
