How is Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak? Looks interesting and I do like RTS games but never played a Homeworld game.

As a fan of a entire Homeworld series, I believe that Homeworld DoK is good prequel to the orginal Homeworld 1 game. Despite being on the ground / planet / desert, gameplay is similar to the HW1, with paper-rock-scissor mechanic, where some units counter one type of enemy, byt are annihilated by other type.
The overall plot and story have some... holes, that make no sense, but climate is spiritual success to the prevoius HW games.
In the end is simpler HW game on the ground, where You do not have to take care of the 3 dimension battlefield. Simplified? Yes. Fun? Still. Do I recomend it? YES.

By the way, there is trailer to the Homeworld 3 game. unfortunetly, there is no GoG logo - only Steam and Epic.
Soooo... Des it mean, we have to wait 1/2 years to get that game on GoG, or it mean it never comes? Any suggestions?
Btw 2 - i'd like to see here Hardspace: Shipbreaker with OST. it's early beta on Steam so I hope that it'll eventually end up here.

I concur with what Mateuszy said. Similar, smaller scope, simplified, and on the whole fun and satisfying.

Don't see why it wouldn't be there, if, perhaps, with a slight delay.

I may finally pick up that game also, so I was wondering: how pointless is the DLC if I'm not interested in multiplayer? Is the skirmish mode available for singleplayer? Is that mode any good?
You guys love tempting me when I just don't have any money to spare lol
I second Mateuszy's recommendation, it's a good, fun ground-based Homeworld game.

The only ones that really add something are two fleet packs, and even they're just little bit extra diversity. I grabbed them on sale, but can't say they're a considerable improvement like, say, Green Planet is for Surviving Mars. So feel free to skip them. They go on sale often enough, so you can buy them later, anyway.
And yeah, you can fight against AI, and it's satisfactory.
Wonder if the Star Trek: Armada games will be released before years end.

Thanks for that. :)
Are there other games in Space with a heavier focus on trading/economics than "Action" besides Offworld Trading Company?
I mean also generally, not only in this sale.
