ChristopherOdd and the Paragons of Good Fun!

Time for another guest celebrity appearance, then! For this special Weekend Sale we've reached out to one of our good friends from the faraway land of YouTube. Meet Mr. Odd, a gentleman of good taste and streamer extraordinaire, who agreed to pick out his favorite games from our catalog and share them with you, served with some fetching discounts on top.

Anyone looking for a tactical skirmish between giant mechs that really really don't like each other, need to look no further than BATTLETECH. The game has also been recently updated to offer a faster, smoother experience to those who want it.

Perhaps the fact that this heroic bug is a Hollow Knight explains why the devs got inspired to fill it to the brim with frequent content updates, making it one of the most delightful metroidvanias in recent years.

The Odd Weekend Sale ends July 23th, 10pm UTC.

Oh, and those who prefer to complete their collection with some timeless classics, might want to check out our special Interplay Sale as well.
I'm interested in a couple of games that are on sale, but I'm saving my money for BioShock

is Surviving Mars worth it?

RWarehall: For the record, Hollow Knight matches it's Gog Historical best...
This also matches the best sale price ever on GoG's two top competitors...
Well I guess I might as well buy it then! Thanks for all your hard work in maintaining this list! Without your hard work I'd be second guessing all my purchases! :P

I was in the same place you are. We'd have these sales and it wasn't easy to figure out if a given price was really a good deal or not. Some publishers just do not discount games as much as others do. So waiting for even 75% off might never happen for some games, while for others 80% off was common and 75% off was not the best discount. IsThereAnyDeal is a great site, but it's cumbersome to go through every entry. (That's where I checked for best prices in "other stores.") Furthermore, when I started this, bundle discounts were far more common in the big sales and ITAD cannot track those. For example, the old D&D Infinity Engine games were almost never less than 60% off except in the big bundle for 80% off, same with the Wing Commander games back then.

I had previously done a lot of sale spreadsheets for the Summer, Fall and Winter sales, so had a bit of data available already and those were usually the best deals of the year. Think it was the end of 2015 when I had a week off for the holidays and decided to put all that data together. Put all the Big Sale data together, then went item by item through ITAD to make sure those were the best deals recorded, then went back through the "news" posts and archive.org to capture any other bundle or flash sales back to the beginning of GoG. After that, it's just been keeping the spreadsheet up to date for all the new sales.

Interesting story there lol.
I wonder, am I the only one who doesn't know (and doesn't care about) all these youtubers, twitch streamers, etc?

Anyway, it is a very nice weekend sale. Goodbye, remaining funds...
Has anyone tried that Duskers game? What engine does it use?
Well, I think it's time for me to buy Hollow Knight. A very good sale indeed, I was hoping to save something for a possible GoG anniversary sale but I think I have failed...

GOG.com: Meet Mr. Odd
Who ?
I do not like these partner promo pages. Owned and not owned games are not separated, you cannot select games to add to the basket, you cannot even sort the offers by rating...

GOG, why every new thing you introduce has to be worse than solutions you already have? Why can't you just use the "normal" promo page with all the good features as a template and add the "partner" stuff to that page?
