Excellent! Another pompous, entitled, ungrateful (ex-steam) gamer who refuses to take ownership of his own mistake and blames others. You refuse to give up necessary info for others that actually want to help you, be it constructive feedback or gaming directly, and then you slam-attack them like an obnoxious child. -Indicated the likely reason you weren't able to run the game

-Gave a specific example of why you might have had a problem
-Offered another answer to your actual question. ("get a refund")

I'm about to make a few comments, and I don't mean to be rude or whatever but I'm not sure how else to phrase it. Please Assume Good Faith on my part here as I try to offer suggestions for the future.

You ended up tripping several red flags associated with people that post in bad faith, and such bad faith posters show up from time to time. Good will around here doesn't stretch nearly as far as it used to, back when this was indeed a much smaller forum with a much more focused store; GOG has changed quite a bit over the years, and there has been expansion and serious turn-over in users.

That said, you didn't delve into the excesses that the bad faithers routinely use, and I'm happy to see that.

Perhaps some forgiveness, all the way around, is appropriate?

The GoG support team contacted me again after reading this forum discussion, I suppose.
Once again they were pretty gentle with me (as I said even in my first post), asking me if I wanted a refund for the second time. I did not accuse GoG, but yeah I had (and still have) perplexities about the way listed requirements are displayed. Said that, to the smart avatars: just make a life, seriously. You're even terrible at doing simple irony.

Goodbye, adios, addio.

Good luck. I certainly hope any future purchases go smoother, if you choose to buy from here again.
