Did anyone send in any support tickets? I don't mind reporting isolated threads, but anything systematic GOG needs to actual get up and taking care of. Assuming they are made aware. I had assumed GOG cleaned up TW2 forums last night (earlier round), but maybe not?

Super. The spammers learned to hit the less visible forums to make things especially annoying. Flagging them seems to have been enough to make them disappear, luckily.

Unlikely. When a thread gets enough spam reports, it automatically disappears, so last night's cleaning seems to have been the work of forumites working together if the few threads that disappeared when I reported them are any indication.

Someone mentioned PMing Judas, so I'd assume they're at least aware-ish of things.

Haven't gotten a reply yet, but that's just me gazing into the black box and wondering what will come out.

I did. He told me to notify support, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Won't have time to do it now either, as I'm on my way to work.

Thanks, seems to be clear now. Unfortunately, now they're flooding The Witcher 2 subforum again. Hopefully support can do something to help since this is around the time when the spam kicked into high gear yesterday.

All the spam in the W2 subforum right now is by user: nn12121, so if someone with divine fora powers could nuke them from orbit, that'd probably help slow things down quite a bit.

EDIT: User skjgowegh is also hitting the M&M subforum again, and harder this time. Spam's being posted faster than I can report it at this point.

Grrr... going there now. Also PMed Judas and Firek, hopefully one of them knows where the GOG staff left the banhammer....

Okay, the following makes it a lot quicker to mark the threads:
Create a bookmarklet, i.e. MarkAsSpam
Instead of an URL enter the following:

javascript:$('.r_t_p_no_EN').show().click(); $('#markSpam_1').click();

Open each spam thread (i.e. ctrl-click) and then go through the tabs hitting the bookmarklet each time.

Tested in Chrome.

The threads in TW2 are still visible though, we need more reporters.

Not anymore. I was the last push in most of those (1 leftover), so I could see it shrinking as I went reporting. Pretty rewarding. I even got into a fight with someone, as some threads had already disappeared when I opened them.

They seem to be gone, except for one that I missed. Sorry. A new spammer showed up right as the existing one deleted, though. Username: exjjp5201
