So that means the Sacred franchise and Saints Row franchise have a new owner.
I don't know if i should be happy about this. Never liked Deep Silver, the publishing branch of Koch media, myself, since they screwed the Sacred franchise ever since they got that after Ascaron's bankruptcy.. Sacred 2 was abandoned and then they came up with that inferior Sacred 3 and garbage citadel. Meanwhile they got Volition and the saints row branch and did actually the same. Screwed Saints Row IV by adding steam workshop, but never fixed the new problem they created with Gat out of hell (savefile from saints row 4 isn't recognized anymore and you end up with seeing a random boss in the cutscenes). Only the online profile of SR4 was fixed. And then they came with, how surprising, a new game called agents of mayhem, which isn't the same like saints row. Good riddance from sleep silver (as they are also called sometimes) . However, it comes now in the hands of Nordic, that company who took over JoWood. The very same one who came with the inferior Ancaria: Gothic 4. I still see Nordic as JoWood, though they have been improved.
But it can be better. Coming up with an expansion for Titan Quest, but which can only be played with the anniversary edition is a slap in the face for those who have the original titan quest. Next to that those who have the original never got a free update to the anniversary edition or at least a huge discount. No, instead you had to buy the game again for full price. And then there is this thing with achievements, as posted here:
https://www.gog.com/forum/general/request_for_companies_like_thq_nordic_to_add_to_their_games_the_same_options_as_steam_achievements Company might be called thq nordic, but it's more nordic then thq. I'm hoping they improve more and start to restore Sacred 2 and the problems with Gat out of Hell. Also hoping they port the dlc's of Saints Row 2, Ultor Exposed, Corporate Warfare and the unkut pack, to the pc. Deep Silver never did that. And a port of the first Saints Row, so that pc users also have a complete collection.
