Congrats on obtaining Deep Silver, As one of the big companies that is not afraid of bringing there AAA games here I would love see the deep silver library and other great games to come here. I will keep supporting your releases as long as you bring the good stuff!

P.S Thanks for the darksiders series <3 love you guys a lot for that.
I'm surprised Koch Media only cost so little to acquire. They really mustn't have been doing all that well. I'm not going to say no to more Deep Silver games. ;)

That said, I'm still waiting for a GOG release for Red Faction Guerilla & Armageddon that THQNordic has owned long before this deal.

tfishell: It'd be great to see Dead Island here!

(I'd like the original Metro 2033 to be here but just so the wishlist entry is completed. :P)

Enebias: I'd like the original Metro 2033 to be here because I find it objectively better than the redux version. Aside from optimization, that is baaaad.
THQ Nordic should now release the original Metro 2033 and the original Metro: Last Light, as well as the original Darksiders and Darksiders 2, and the original Dead Island as well for sale on gog.com.

Just need a edit since people might think I got it wrong.

I know the Darksiders video games are owned already by THQ Nordic, what I want THQ Nordic to do is release the original Darksiders video games for sale on gog.com included with the remastered Darksiders video games.

Me to. But I am happy. THQ Nordic seems much more "GOG Friendly" than Deep Silver did.

Congratulations! Now I hope that we will get someday Warhammer Mark of Chaos and Metro Exodus soon after release. :)

Johnathanamz: THQ Nordic should now release
Why everyone forgot about Warhammer Mark of Chaos? :/ This game wasn't that bad at all!
Great news !

Hoping for the rest of 'Red Faction' series.

what about this one ? :D
Could this mean that Memoria and Chains of Satinav could finally get its German version here? Afaik it was party developed by Deep Silver as well even though the general publisher is Daedalic (unfortunately they stopped talking to people asking about it after they, meaning the CEO Carsten Fichtelmann, promised to get back to us).
THQ Nordic if they get bigger, since they seem to be getting bigger spending $141 million dollars (USD) on purchasing Koch Media GmBH and their CEO is a very rich investor should go to Electronic Arts (EA) and purchase the Command & Conquer video games along with Westwood Studios who is now Petroglyph.

THQ Nordic can be the savior of the Command & Conquer video games.

Electronic Arts (EA) would probably sell the Command & Conquer Intellectual Property (IP) for like either $1 million dollars (USD) or less because Electronic Arts (EA) is not doing anything with it anyways and they released Command & Conquer 4 in 2010.

I can see THQ Nordic every other year becoming the savior of abandoned or neglected video game Intellectual Properties (IP's).
THQNordic should purchase EA so at least we can get a good Star Wars game instead of the rubbish EA has been producing since getting the licence.

I doubt they would release them for sale along with the new version, that would cause consumer confusion. Adding them as an extra to the new versions for free would be a safer bet.

And I asked them to do that for Darksiders II while they were in the forum announcing their new game. However my request has been completely ignored twice ... not even an answer.

Edit: Just got an answer - yay! Unfortunately the answer is that they probably won't add the original DS2 to the Deathinitive edition because the original also has DLCs in it making it a different situation than the DS1 situation. You can read their reply here and a logical explanation why this is a problem a few post below from Gr00T.

Yes that's what I'm asking for THQ Nordic to do to release the originals as a extra.

I typed for sale because I was typing to fast and I never proof read my comments when I post them.

Just like one person said it's Koch not Kock.
