Siegor: Has Crusader Kings I and/or II been mentioned yet? I have the second one on Steam and absolutely love it.

LordCinnamon: For some mysterious reason (or maybe it's not mysterious, but I don't know it) Paradox and GOG aren't a happy couple yet. You'd think it to be a pretty good match..
You could almost call it 'paradoxical'! *chortle*
(If you were a complete doosh!)

blotunga: I think it'll be Sacred 2
Though I would be even happier with Dungeon Siege 2 + Broken World.
Any of the Dungeon Sieges would be bloody brilliant.
Dragon Age?

truhlik77: Dragon Age?
At nearly 3000 wishlist votes I'd heartily enjoy seeing that come! Assuming all the DLC is included.

I do hope we'll see more /older/ EA games, though. (namely, some of those I tweeted to Jeff Skalski ;)

I'm at a loss concerning what it could be. It might be the SSI Dungeons & Dragons games, but I personally doubt that.

edit:

Torchlight II might be the best bet, but perhaps that was shot down too?

It would. It's somehow possible! :>

You'd think that the first SSI Gold Box game to show up would be 'Pool of Radiance' but there's not much in the vid to point to that, unless they're doing a pack of 5 Gold Box games together but that would be more like five 5 1/4 inch floppies than CDs!

Not going to happen. Steam took Paradox for a ride after the party last Friday night. I hear Paradox took it in every hole. A real mess. Not likely that GOG will be getting date offers anytime soon... probably for the best.

W00t!

Frankly I'm just hoping for anything other than Gothic 4, aka higher-up on the wishlist than just 100 votes. ;)

Torchlight 2, Dungeon Siege, Titan Quest, Dragon Age, SSI games - all will be welcomed heartily. I'll clap most for Torchlight 2, though, since it's got like 6,000 wishlist votes.
What's the almost subliminal flash at the very start of the clip? Looks like a person but I can't seem to get a screen shot of it.

Also, love the post-it note quest marker.

It reminded me of Fable: The Lost Chapters when I watched the instagram; the questgiver calling you hero, fetch quests and then TET 'finding' the cds. And the big yellow exclamation mark, although I can't recall if the first game had that, but I know the others did. Also the font on the title reminded me of the font on the cover for that game. I'm probably wayyyy off the mark, but that was my first gut instinct and if it isn't Fable:TLC then I'm stumped! :)
Hopefully we don't get screwed over by an Aprils' Fools Joke! :P

yeah I thought of Fable: The Lost Chapters too because 'Lost Chapters' but it would mean that GOG had snagged Microsoft Game Studios and I'd expect much more build-up and hype it that had happened!

True, it'd probably be a big deal acquiring Microsoft Games Studios, and the way TET walked carrying the cds is bugging me. There's a sort of side-scrolling action going on in that video, but it might be nothing...

The reason (at least according to Paradox's official claims) is that Steam makes it easier to include multiplayer, achievements and patch updates and that, while they could offer a version without those things, they don't want to sell an "inferior" version.

Of course, how this applies to their older titles (the games before CKII which have DRM-free versions and are no longer being updated) has yet to be explained....
