true... BUT... i knew it had a client you have to use long before i joined Steam .... and the GOG client is an optional client and i hope it stays optional.

My initial reaction (really just within the first fraction of a second) was: "oh come on, GOG - f*** this shit".

But - basically immediately, after that moment - I remembered that I owned five (5) free keys for TW: EE at one point.

PLUS the one key I had already bought myself (for $4,99) before I received these free keys years later.

And as a matter of fact, only one of these five free keys ever saw any use by me (I gifted it to someone, as soon as I received it) - the four other keys, which are still sitting unused in my orders list, are no longer redeemable - and for quite some time now.

So: I don't mind the Galaxy users to get one key for free.
I got more than my fair share of those already - I really don't need another one.

And I guess, at this point in time (it's 12 years after the release of the EE) I'm not the only GOG user in that situation.

The problem isn't making Witcher 1 giveaway for God's forsaken Z time.
The problem is specificly about forcing people to use Galaxy to obtain it.
