Niggles: So u would expect them to do it for the new Mac versions of existing games as well?. come on.....
That would be nice if there were new Mac versions of existing games but I'd be happy if there just were new Mac versions of existing games even more. It's been quite a while since we got a batch of those.

Not that it is news but Good Old Games don't get nearly the attention or releases they once did here. There's been nothing to buy here for me personally since the end of last year but then I am a Mac user who likes classic games. Go figure.

Sure, why not? It is a new release for GOG users. It's not just an "update". Not doing it sounds like treating Linux / OS X as second class citizens on GOG (since with Windows versions, each gets a front page release post).

Front page release is for brand new games to GOG. I wouldn't imho class releasing a Mac or Linux version afterwards as a *new* release to GOG. Like JMich pointed out GOG does put up bunched releases for games which have Mac versions now and then. Thats probably the correct way to go imho as well...

If the game comes out on Windows only first (which is not uncommon), then it de-facto makes front page announcement equal to announcing the Windows version :) I don't mind some weekly updates about additional OS releases on the front page though. May be it's too early, but so far GOG didn't make one for new Linux games.
