Hello everyone!

The Public Stage branch version is updated to the live version and it brings these changes and fixes along.

Please note that the scarecrows, if encountered, have no functionality anymore as the Halloween event has passed. For now they only have a cosmetic purpose.

- New dialogue sounds (together 10 new voice colors): including Farewell, first time greeting, Greeting, Vendor
- Break slots for Hunters in Hunting Lodge

Fixed

- Compass working incorrectly when mounted
- Torch not usable while holding a sickle
- Interaction UI not updating correctly when opening chests while holding interaction key

- If item is about to spoil in this season, then only the last stack of it will get spoiled
- Possibility to have an unlimited tool when unassigning item from quickslot during holstering animation
- Animals not keeping their name after growing up
- No input on a gamepad for building rotation

- Mount couldn’t use running/sprinting speed when the player starts moving during the mounting animation.
- Issue with NPCs when they appear on the screen, causing them to shift strangely and slowly adjusting to the ground.

- Sometimes, when a player blocks an NPC (at a workbench or a break point), the NPC starts interacting at the point where he is standing.
- Sometimes animal breeders enter the animal housing when they are working with the animals.

Conway: Disappearance at Dahlia View Patch 1.0.0.3 is now live!

We just updated Conway with Patch 1.0.0.3!

Moving into week 2 since launch, it's great to see everyone enjoying and feeding back to us on their experience in Dahlia View!

We've put together a set of patch notes found below but as ever, please do message us if you spot anything you'd like us to take a look at:

Large fixes

- Removed the need to go back to the mallet in the McKee's level if player has already started the conversation when coming from a load which caused a blocker

Quality of life

- A saving progress message now communicates to the player when the game is saving
- Added refinement to Conway movement when bumping into things + his turn speed to help player accessibility
- Can now enable 'Alternate Gamepad Prompt Textures' in the 'gameplay menu' to display alternative prompt icons

Saving

- We now save on completion of evidence review so you don't have to reply if quitting out before the next scene starts
- 'Use Mouse Interaction' option now saves correctly

Minor fixes

- Hidden Annabelle's cigarette in the Opening after it detaches so it isn't left floating by the step after she leaves
- Fixed an issue when loading back into Downes' pub, where the character is invisible
- Fixed issue where you could click on invisible wheelchair box when Tony is sat in it
- Fixed an issue where the player could teleport on top of desk in the pub
- Fixed issue where under certain instances, you were able to advance into the barrel room in Downes level before the player has unlocked the padlock on the door.
- Update issue in Downes' level where player can interrupt dialogue mid conversation when interacting with other objects in the office
- Fixed an issue where the jumper cables in Levy's Garage could be broken

The steam version got a multiplayer update on the 25th March so I wonder if it's related.

Bright Memory was basically a paid demo. The full version of the game is named Bright Memory: Infinite, and was automatically added for free to the accounts of everyone who owned Bright Memory. It was added to my GOG account 4 hours ago.

I know, it was added to mine :D but the demo was updated too. Some minor changes as far as I can tell, I things like the message about the promotion for Infinte was removed and now the demo starts by default using DX12

This patch fixes the following issues:

- Fixed a bug which could lead to the game crashing upon level change. The reason was a lingering reference on the old helicopter object of the previous level.
- Fixed a bug where a mix up of interaction bubbles could lead to a crash under certain circumstances.
- Fixed a bug where a not-yet created interaction bubble is spawned if it does not exist yet.
- Fixed a bug where during saving process only part of the weapon status would be stored.
- Fixed a bug where the assisting player was loaded in the wrong x position after loading a save game.
- Fixed a bug where a dreamer was not properly put into the "stumbling backwards" state when loaded from a save game.
- Mitigated a crash that would occur when the dreamer target of a player was destroyed during the save process. This does not fully solve the whole issue, but instead of hard crashing, it leads now only to a temporary animation glitch.

All the mentioned bugs in the save system had the potential to create a corrupted savegame that would crash upon load.

The Synchrotron Controversy
Omaewamou-Shinderu’s most recent entry in the realm of weapons manufacture has earned imports from Uranus and especially its moon Miranda embargoes or bans in most systems on the grounds of safety and environmental concerns. Named after the spear that Odin would carry into battle during Ragnarok, this repurposed small proton collider has been stripped of most safety and measurement equipment. The charge it carries is enormous and takes time to dissipate in the rings, creating a very hazardous environment to mine in. Enceladus Prime has not yet made any regulatory rulings on this device.

New photosensors for reconnaissance drones
In a collaboration between Runasimi and Obonto Micro Engineering, new standards have been agreed upon regarding recon drone photosensors. Anticipating a drop in costs associated with standardized supply, the new photosensors promise better image clarity, with a higher dynamic range and onboard postprocessing.

Superconductor Improvements
Exiting a phase of testing and feedback, safety regulations surrounding this relatively new technology have been lifted. With an established track record of safety, SMES systems are now approved to operate much closer to their theoretical full potential, making them much more useful and reliable in providing a large power reserve for periods of peak usage.

Maintenance Records
- New SPC Gungnir Proton Cannon.
- Game engine upgraded to Godot 3.4, featuring: better stability, performance and native support for M1 processors.
- Improved quality of post-processing light effects.
- Improved collision detection accuracy between ship hulls and small objects.
- Enhanced the game background.
- New DTSS feature to smooth out the gameplay can dynamically adapt your framerate to the CPU power available.
- Superconductive Magnetic Energy Storage systems will now be more reliable.
- Point defence systems can now target drones and unusual hostile ships.
- Racing was not offering another race if you won a couple of times.
- NPC ships were confused by the complex shapes of Ganymedian Anarchy station and The Space Bar and sometimes tried to fly right through them.
- Chanced the way AI handles emotions to behave more like a human would.
- Added tooltips to the controls menu icons.
- The pause menu will not be affected by your camera exposure.
- Adjusted colour balance.
- Crew leave time is now listed in red.
- If you send your crew over to an EI1337 equipped derelict for salvage and it fails, the derelict will not attempt to fly by itself with it’s autopilot.
- Some derelicts were listed as older than their initial production date.
- Position lights on AR1500 Manipulator won’t turn themselves on after you adjust light settings.
- Pirates won’t open fire on you shortly after asking for a truce.
- Added mouse zoom and camera sensitivity sliders in the Controls menu.
- Vilcy patrols will now leave you alone when you do no business with them.
- Big Bad Wolf won’t follow your ship even when you have good standing with the bounty hunters.
- Rebooting your computer will now clear guiding drone, geologist and astrogator displays.
- AR1500 Manipulator will not throw light objects away.
- Marking many items for your guiding drone will not glitch out the drone path overlay.
- Updated translations.

Ok, we now have an official launch date for the PC version. This has been a long journey but we're finally there! You probably guessed after the last update that we'd be leaving early access soon since there's now an ending and all.

So, the date is: Nov 16th 2021. The exact time depends on your timezone but here in Finland we'll be pushing the release button so that the game would be available 14:00 EET. This means we'll push the button around 13:50 to account for any delays. This event your're reading is set to trigger 14:00 EET Nov 16th 2021.
