Yes, that's why I think that changelog threads in the respective forums are important. New platforms, new languages, compability fixes and added bonuses may be very important information when people decide whether to buy or not to buy a game.

NOTE! ADD +++ We have added the Mac version of To The Moon.

[And made what was previously the monolingual English Windows installer into a multilingual installer? Which is surprising considering that the French/Polish/Portuguese/Spanish had newer dates than the English one...]
I've created a changelog thread for To The Moon:

https://www.gog.com/forum/to_the_moon/changelog

I have to say that it's quite confusing that the updates for different platforms have different version numbers. To the Moon on Windows is GOG-4 while Mac version is GOG-1. Wouldn't it be more convenient to use the Windows version number for all platforms (of course only if no platform is missing a patch or update)?

[No flag, no changelog]

DyNaer: erm correction , i just got a flag for this one :)
Not exactly. I believe the flag you (and I) got a few hours ago is for today's Mac update. not for yesterday's (probably minor) Windows update. No big deal, though -- one flag is as good as another.

I got two flags for DEFCON. One for the Windows version two days ago and one for the Mac version today.

you're probably right, but since for users still using the downloader got issues with this game & the last update, i though the notification was for windows (since you reported a different file size for the windows installer). It was a bit misleading. (not from you of cource ;) )

i just don't like , the notification system which doesn't tell you if the version is for windows , mac or linux, you need to check the changelog ....

Me too. There was one more (probably minor) change in the middle (yesterday), which got no flag. No big deal.

Different installer versions means different gog-X numbers :) If we do know for a fact which version the actual game is then we put that in there along with the (gog-1) like we did with the recent Pax Imperia :)

Since you're here, could you please take a look at my post above (http://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_what_did_just_update_thread/post9612) and make sure that your changes to the windows installers (removing all the separate monolingual installers and leaving only the previous English installer as the multilingual installer) were indeed as intentioned. Thanks.

i don't get it , i have a french installer which is 2.1.0.5 (would be gog-5) , now it's gone from the website.... most likely an error ; it was a different version. and different file size,

It does look suspicious, which is why I asked Judas about it in the post preceding yours. Let's see what he thinks.
