A bunch of games got updated with the new installer (and also got a Mac version perhaps, I don't watch the Mac stuff as I have no Mac), without notification it seems.

Giants: Citizen Kabuto and Fallout Tactics now have 2.0 installers.

Does the new installer have a check function for his files like the old one did? I did not see one. And I think it is a bit stupid that the new one does not support periods in the path as the old one had them. This means that I'll probably have to install all games new when all installer packages are updated.

P.S. Somehow I could only post this with IE, not Firefox or Opera Mobile.

Well I've downloaded all above mentioned games this Tuesday around noon (less than 48 hours ago) and they've since received updated installers, but I haven't received an update notification for them.
edit: Fallout Tactics and Earthworm Jim 3D also got updated during the last 48 hours (they have the 2.0 installers now).

All the free games have updated installers now, as well as Fallout 2, Freespace, Freespace 2, M.A.X., and Shogo.

Edit: Teenagent has a missing icon.

Do they have circular desktop icons too? I hate those new circular ones. I like my desktop icons square or rectangular :D

Every updated game has them. Didn't care for the boxart icons myself.

Lots of new installers, in fact, and I didn't get any notifications about them at all.

Should I post all off my games that got silently updated?
After much downloading and checking and re-downloading I have now everything functioning again, except for Fallout Tactics which is pretty broken right now (the intaller doesn't even start because it does not find some data file that shouldn't even exist).

Please do.
I do not use the downloader and have no way of identifying changes short of redownloading 501 games.
