Huh I'm "Level 6" apparently. What does this mean??? And how teh feck did I get to 6? I thought you had to do social stuff or make badges or whatever but I've just been selling all the cards and I don't have any friends.... not even on Steam.

Oh it is much worse than that... The hook is that the higher your Steam level, the greater the likelihood of booster pack drops. So ostensibly leveling up your account means more cards to level your account up...It's the black hole of levels! ;-p

That's the catch to keep the thing going, but cleverly enough they didn't release any numbers (by how much the chances of getting a booster pack rise with each level)

Ah ok. I didn't think I had that many (about 30 I think).

p.s. Speaking of selling cards, I'm currently selling "Mercury (Foil)" and "Velvitopia Villians (Foil)" for the rip-off price of £23, the most expense on the market by a large margin. If anyone buys either of them then they're certifiably insane.

But they do!

Once eligible, your Steam Level increases your rate of receiving a booster pack drop:
Level 10: +20% increase in your drop rate
Level 20: +40% increase in your drop rate
Level 30: +60% increase in your drop rate
Level 40: +80% increase in your drop rate
Level 50: +100% increase in your drop rate (i.e. the rate has doubled)
Etc.
