No worries. 2015 edition suggests it's more about newer stuff, so it's not really 100% clear anyway.

I enjoyed Saints Row 2 (once I did away with that stupid minimum Respect mission requirement) but I found it to be overrated myself. What did you find overrated about it?

Personally for all the talk about how Saints Row: The Third "is too over the top and not serious enough" and how Saints Row: The Third's wackiness ruined the series, I found Saints Row 2 to be just as wacky. The way its fans talk about it, you would assume that Saints Row 2 was some gritty hard boiled GTA-clone with a mature story, and that just isn't the case...

On Topic: I find GTA V and The Witcher 3 to be overrated! I mean...I've never played them myself, but millions of other people have, therefore they're overrated! While those sheep eat their...sheep food I'll be over here playing an indie game that only three people have played, because I'm a REAL gamer!!one!

Thanks for bringing up the Sims. Every Sims game is overrated. They are games that let you do shit in front of a PC that you can do in real life. WOW! Yeah, I'd much rather play a game that lets me do things that I can't do in real life.

Yeah, but the police always get all uptight when I drown my friends in the swimming pool in real life.

Well, to be fair, you could join the army and do those COD type things. Or join a Larp group for fantasy. Become a miner and ply your craft etc. Now I am not saying that Sims is by any means good, but I don't remember the overrating numpties going on about it, like they do about GTA, COD, or DarkSouls, as it tends to be more of a niche market.

Being in the army is nothing like COD, trust me, I know. And joining a LARP group still doesn't come close to fantasy games. I think it's more a social thing than a fantasy thing. You know, like having a good time with friends. And if you try to make a LARPing session too realistic, you will be wanted for murder because that evil orc is really a human being. And using a flamethrower on someone to recreate the Agannazar's Scorcher spell is also not an option unless you want to go to prison for life. I would say, the Sims game are overrated because those games have a lot of fans. That is why they keep unleashing more and more of them into this world.

And that damn social service gets all up in my grill when I leave my newborn home alone for just a few hours.

I'm not saying the Sims games can't be fun, for some time. :P
