Well if you don't like stealth at all then I could get why don't you like it.
This takes me back to Futurama, that one episode where Fry befriends a guy from the 80's, who also happens to buy Planet Express. xP

Shadowstalker16: MOBAs
They're killing REAL RTS, nuff said.
avatar
sherringon456: Agreed that they are overrated even though I don't mind Dota 2. It's exciting for about the first or second match every session but then gets boring. However, I don't think they are killing real RTS (Although certainally not doing it any good.) because the developers of the main 5 MOBAs (Dota 2, LoL, Heroes of Newerth, SMITE and Heroes of the Storm.), with the exception of Blizzard (And they will probably carry on making RTS games, I think they will do Warcraft 4 after they have finished Starcraft 2: Legacy of the void.), weren't RTS developers before. However, RTS games are losing some potential customers both old and new to MOBAs.
Yes. And many people from RTS forums always talk about how their friends go into playing DOTA 2.

are you sure its just that you don't like this kind of game! i'd say you mixed "don't like this game genre" with "overrated"?

i suggested that biocrap infinite is overrated and i played and beat a lot of fps games and love this genre.

nerdlingers being nerdlingers, someone would have complained loud enough for me to hear about it, if they did get cut.

any game that rides the hype
If I had time...

Someone should start a "Games that lived up to or exceeded the hype" thread preferably without all caps in the topic line.
Have we underrated games of all time thread(s)?

you mean underrating threads which are talking about underrated games?

Edit: I'm not underrating threads ever. Games? Very much so. sometimes. When I remember things. Things made of sockpuppets!

No such thread exists because no such games exists. Seriously! Every time I have fun playing a game (be it halo or spyro for GBA) some guy on the internet says "hey I really enjoy this game". And I'm like "Really man!?! I'm trying like a game in peace and you're here on some forum overrating it! Gee, thanks for ruining all possible fun man!"
Myst - seeing it on the shelves in every store back in the 90s - even in Mom & Pop stationary shops that didn't even sell games normally - was almost cause for needing aggression therapy.

You're calling a 20+ year old game overrated?
The PC versions of Saints Row 2 and GTA 4 are overrated. In fact I'd say GTA 4 is overrated full stop. Now there's a game that completely forgot it isn't supposed to be the fucking Sims.

I haven't tried GTA 5 but it does look like it's a lot better.

"All time" the title says. So 20 years seems reasonable by that metric.
