Foxhack: Is the XP bugged? the site doesn't say how much XP I'll be getting after my purchase anymore.
Same for me. What the heck!
Whew! I finally went through the arduous journey of purchasing some games. I’m glad it’s over. . . . Unfortunately, that was not sarcasm.

It’s the first time I’ve experienced payment issues on GOG. When I first went to buy my games (via PayPal), it lead me to a “verification of your payment” process. It asked me to be patient and wait a few minutes; but after about a dozen of minutes and a few refreshes, I decided to close the tab. Then, I decided to retry my luck on duplicate orders some more times, to no avail. Clearing my PayPal cookies didn’t help. I even tried to do the same order on my Android phone, but I got the same problem. At some point, though, I logged out of GOG and, apparently, that did the trick.

It was very annoying—and worrying—since I don’t think I could have contacted the support for timely help due to being Sunday (though maybe they always have people to help on payment issues?). (I know that GOG would have probably played it fair and honoured the discounts if I couldn’t have got my order to work before the end of the sale, but it wouldn’t have been as convenient—both for me and for GOG.)

Ugh. This had better be fixed by tomorrow morning. I can't be completely sure of how much XP I'll be getting without that counter. :|

It translates to 1,000 points per U.S. dollar spent before rounding. $9.99 = 10,000 $5.99 = 6,000 $1.49 = 1,500

Assuming you are still receiving it when it doesn't show up on the card...

Edit: And +10% if you use wallet funds.

I'm in Mexico, regional pricing affects me. I don't actually have to spend the $23ish to get all the XP I need.

Yeah, but it will be the translated U.S. equivalent I believe.
avatar
RWarehall: Only if you count the BYOB: Rebellion bundle twice (It is listed twice!). Maybe I should have added the qualifier "unique".
Oh, you are right. I already was wondering about the odd number of 11 added bundles, but did not realize that one of them was a duplicate.
Ack, I'm not going to make it, does anyobody have a spare code of Stasis?

You might have some luck at https://www.gog.com/forum/general/winter_sale_201_clearinghouse_thread
...though it's in somewhat high demand given that it's the highest tier, so I dunno. =P

... yes, but I can't actually see the XP I'm getting, because I can't see the US prices to calculate the XP I'd get. Even logged out I get the different price. :|

Um, I'm getting this message:

You have reached the daily 1,000.00 spending limit with your wallet. We're sorry for the inconvenience, please try again in 24 hours or choose another payment method.

Anyone else run into this?

The problem is I haven't spent even 10% of that in the last 24 hours and my previous purchase was 5 days ago.

So now my funds on my wallet are locked until after the sale? I put those fund there specifically for this special.

Is there a staff member seeing this that can fix it?
avatar
Painted_Doll: Congrats . You earned the " I survived another sale . " badge .
avatar
NuffCatnip: Hooray xD

avatar
moonshineshadow: Because you managed to hold back or because you already have a way too big backlog? :P
(for me it is the second reason).
avatar
NuffCatnip: Both :P
I buy games, but never 'bother' playing them, so withholding from buying new games this time is a 'success'. :)

Plus, next year is full of must haves for me: Berserk and the Band of the Hawk, Agents of Mayhem, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Battlechasers, Agony, Outlast 2 and many more. xD
Christ we need help, as I am a notorious game hoarder...Gog 430+ Steam 300+ Disks100+ Emulated lost count after several hundred...

I don't get it what does this have to do with i am not being able to get any XP anymore? Is this a bug?
