Good news from Germany. There is a significant chance that most surfaces are actually safe to touch. A lot of people in Germany are becomming insane, because everyone is washing their hands non-stop and thats not good. You don't want SARS-CoV-2 but you also don't want the other 50+ illnesses that can kill you if there is no protective layer on your hand.

You all heard people saying that the virus will "stick" to surfaces on on some it lasts for 3+ days. However, that experiment was with a special fluid that stimulates the virus and lasts a long time.

So during a few days, scientists in Germany are conducting experiemts on people with SARS-CoV-2 who're quarantained at home. For instance, they checked on peoples health, taking blood (for plasma analysis), that sort of thing.

But they also did something else, whenever they were at homes with highly infectious people they've taken samples of their phones, doorknobs, all sorts of items and tools that you touch daily. Also samples of spit from animals like cats and dogs. None of the animals were infected.

While they've found that there were SARS-CoV-2 virus samples on every item it didn't even try to replicate (which is what they do when they make samples of the virus for experiements, it doesn't grow on trees.) There were, from what I've know, zero times were the virus could be activated by any external stimuli (which happen rapidly with SARS-CoV-2, its why its so dangerous). This means that the virus was there but "dead" (or "off"). This indicates that the hull dried up and there is no way for the virus to get active again.

This may also imply that the animal from Hong Kong which had SARS-CoV-2, could have had "off" cell culture within its nose, with the virus being deactivated. Remember that you CAN infect animals with the virus, they've done so with monkeys to test whether or not they develop antibodies.

There are also scientists who're crossanalyzing plasma to see how the immune system adepts to the virus and how different strains affect the immune system as well.

At any case, the study I've wrote prior should be released to the public quite soon, with more information to follow.

No I don't. And not sure the western media will publish such info any time soon, if ever.

falloutttt: From Russian news.
And it took 2 seconds to find western sources reporting on it. The western media that wouldn't ever be reporting on it.

Good point. I take back what I said.
Just for the heads up... Cats and dogs CAN be carriers, but don't transmit the damned thing to humans. Also, them rarely fall ill and especially, in a dire/critical fashion, from that specific pathogen.

And thankfully, my babies are now fully healthy, once again! Suddenly they got ill and suddenly they recovered! Can cuddle with them once again, whee!
Only on GOG: "My last thread was closed and deleted. I need to make another identical one!"

I do think we need a thread on this topic, considering it's the only news in the world right now. We just need to keep politics to a minimum.

This is good to hear, if true. Thanks for the good news.

A few things to note, here:

1. It wasn't mine(another user made the first one for pretty much the same reasons as I made the new one).

2. It wasn't deleted, it was locked(due to a few people going into rule breaking territory)....otherwise most of us would have gladly kept using the old one.

3. This isn't any old thread topic/world situation......and some might have info/news/well wishes to share with other forum users, and it might lift some people's spirits or provide a distraction during all this.
